Glaucoma is an eye condition characterized by increased fluid pressure, leading to symptoms such as halos around lights, vision loss, headaches, and eye pain. Causes can be primary (unknown) or secondary due to factors like tumors, diabetes, or eye injuries. The NHS funds glaucoma testing, and people may be referred for tests to determine the need for hospital treatment.

2. • Glaucoma is a condition in which the fluid pressure that is present
within our eyes, rises to a greater extent.
• One may see halos and glares around the lights, or may face a
sudden vision loss, or experience a severe headache and pain in
eyes while suffering from glaucoma.
Causes of Glaucoma :
• In case of primary Glaucoma, the causes are very much unknown.
• In the case of secondary Glaucoma, the known causes are a
tumor,poorly controlled diabetes, an advanced cataract, high blood
pressure, serious eye injurious, eye inflammations or other diseases
that can lead to Glaucoma in some patients.
