This document identifies risks for an upcoming film shoot and outlines strategies to prevent or overcome those risks. Key risks addressed include actor conflicts, illness, injuries, poor weather impacting outdoor filming, equipment malfunctions, poor actor performances, issues with locations, and traffic safety. Prevention strategies include creating a strict filming schedule, notifying cast of changes through Facebook, carrying a first aid kit, having emergency contacts, choosing appropriate weather days, testing and charging equipment, conducting auditions, researching locations for safety, and briefing actors on traffic safety. The director is given responsibility for most risk mitigation efforts, with support from the full production team.

respective family members as well as
the numbers of emergency services.
Of course I will also keep a working
fully charged mobile phone with me

I have planned to film on days where
the weather is forecast as
appropriate. If we are caught in
inappropriate weather conditions it
will be up to the director either to
arrange to re-schedule a shoot on
another day or try to re-write to

Camera and other equipment All Director
I have planned to film with an
appropriate Canon EOS DSLR
camera and tripod. Before the shoot
I will ensure that the camera is
charged and we have a blank SD card
with sufficient space as well as a
back up one. Should the camera
break or run out of charge or memory
it will be up to the director either to
arrange to re-schedule a shoot on
another day or try to resolve the
issue. My course of action will
depend on the circumstance. I have
arranged charging points during the
day near the shooting locations
