As the director, I am responsible for most risks of the film shoot. Common sense and health and safety rules must always be followed. Key risks identified include illness or injury of actors, clashes in schedules, bad weather outdoors, memory cards filling up or malfunctioning. Strategies to mitigate these risks include having substitute actors on standby, maintaining close communication to avoid scheduling conflicts, checking weather forecasts ahead of time, and bringing multiple backup memory cards to each shoot.
