As the director, I am responsible for most risks of the film shoot. Common sense and health and safety rules must always be followed. Key risks identified include illness or injury of actors, clashes in schedules, bad weather outdoors, memory cards filling up or malfunctioning. Strategies to mitigate these risks include having backup actors and rescheduling if needed, maintaining close contact to avoid clashes, checking weather forecasts and rescheduling as needed, bringing multiple backup memory cards to every shoot.
