The document discusses the idea that the greatest gift one can give is "nothing", which refers to giving acceptance, love, and compassion from the heart without expectation of material reward or recognition. It states that providing invisible gifts like acceptance everyday is more meaningful than just giving on special occasions. True giving comes from a place of open-heartedness rather than obligation or hidden motives. The greatest gift of all is developing the courage to give nothing but compassion from an open heart.

Heartfelt and real tips for managing the holidays when you are dreading them. This tool is part of a series offered by the Happiness Alliance at www.happycounts.org for personal happiness and wellbeing as well as social change for a new economic paradigm.
Dumpster diving for yesterdays left overs of love is fruitless.
Chances are, you are going to unknowingly try that on rare
occasion. In other words, all but that hidden spark is gone or plateaued to a level that is comfortable uncomfortable. The days grow weary and slip by into months and years of destitute love, meaning just existing day to day. Looking for love in all the wrong places, even if you remember to do that, is like looking for a black cat, in a dark house, when you’re blind and deaf...and there is no cat!

Are you a hypochondriac of love or fear of love’s power, or are you a ‘relegator of love to nonsense? Not releasing love is ‘controlling’, as well as giving it where it’s met with abuse. Debunking love is unacknowledged common by pessimistically oriented non believers who put it in the same category as ‘believing in Santa Claus’.
Over the years, I have come to view happiness as a choice rather than a feeling. I’ll admit, sometimes it is much harder to choose than at other times. There are, however, many things we can do to help ourselves stay in that place of happiness, joy, and gratitude...

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Give nothing
1. Give Nothing
December 10, 2012
The greatest gift you can give anyone is ʻnothingʼ! Nothing can be something.
How can nothing be something? We often think of giving as being a material
present for a special occasion. Being in a state of ʻacceptance from the heartʼ
may be invisible, but is the greatest gift that few see, but take those who do
for granted. To give ʻacceptanceʼ, and at the same time being able to receive
from the heart is a great blessing. The ʻfiner giftsʼ are an energy that we leave
for others to know. Even in passing from the earth plane, acceptance given, and
received follows us every day.
Gifts given on special days from the heart are to be appreciated, but giving the invisible
gift everyday is a holiday, or ʻholy-dayʼ! Some days are days alone in the darkness of
wondering who really cares. Some whoʼve disappeared from connection really care, and
they leave that feeling in your heart to have forever. ʻLove is in the airʼ is more than a
song, but a reality when we open the heart of acceptance. In thoughts, we can
send love to all, or especially to those who have been close to our hearts.
Life can get busy, but who is too busy to not take the many
opportunities for opening the heart? Most have a habit of filling the mind
with the ʻflatʼ knowledge that is so incessantly harbored, and yet a
contributor to the ʻforgetfulnessʼ to ʻbreathe inʼ the love in the air.
Most give because of a feeling of obligation which is a very low
vibrational giving that is ʻego drivenʼ. Giving like this is essentially
ʻroboticʼ, and with a cookie cutter agenda of giving so as not to feel
guilty, or to receive some form of honor from the recipient. In a sense
itʼs duplicitous behavior, or a deliberate gesture with hidden motives, be
they, ʻitʼs expectedʼ, or for certain favors from the receiver down the road. The
circle of giving material gifts can be an endless one unless you well up the courage to
give nothing but an energy of compassion from the heart.
In the heart, you will find ʻnothingʼ. In the open heart there is a joyous feeling that can
come up at most any moment. It may be about your mother, father, child, sibling, or
someone you love regardless of their presence. Feel a passion to give with no
expectation of a visible appreciation, or for that matter, just the sense of your own
receiving of the feeling that is ʻnothing to anyoneʼ but in your own memory. The ʻairʼ
gives love, for the air is love. Breathe deeper and the air will begin to create a feeling in
the heart seemingly coming from nothing if you receive by
giving the ʻbreath for loveʼ.
