2. REFLECTION REPORT
Gen Youth is a one of organisation that lead empowering students to create a healthy,
high achieving future with technology. What we can learn from the seminar series on
technology and entrepreneurship last week are we get to know about low cost business which
are well development, e-commerce, tutoring, social media and traditional or modern services.
From our knowledge, we knew that we can also make money by tutoring for not even kids but
adults also. Other than that, we also learned that work experience is needed when we looking
for a job. It’s became a requirement in our era. Nowadays, majority of companies seek for those
that have working experience. We also discover that we not only can succeed in our study ajor
but also with something that we have interest and passion. For example, Jack Ma. He took
major in English but now he become one of the successful business man in the world. The
speaker of the seminar has encouraged us to be more confident to deliver our ideas and also
give us a good vision of the entrepreneur. He also give us a link to get a part time job durung
our semester break. It’s will help us to find more experience. The seminar also gave us many
implications on our project. Like what the speaker said, he started from the beginning, he
travelled to many countries to gain knowledge and also experiences in business. So we know
that the key of his success are patient and experience. We must not waste our time by dreaming
without doing anything but we must start what we love and what we want from now on. What
we have to know is there is no success without hardship. In addition, we don’t need a
complicated thing to solve the problem in our life. We only have to choose the simple ways to
make our life easier. So, its give us an idea to make our project become more interested. Lastly,
this information make us more confident to make our eco-café project by using recyle items.
Its also can make our project in a low cost.
