• The gift of a good book is knowledge that lasts forever.
• If your grandchild is a bookworm, you’re lucky.
• You can pick up almost any fiction novel and they’ll
devour it.
• For a non-book lover, you can still choose pictorial
books in an area that interests them.
• Topics such as outer space, dinosaurs and technology
are usually a hit with them.
• Epics and Folklore may be another good idea
• Do show your Library and promise them to gift whole
as they grow with its history intact

4. 2.Thinking Games
• There are a few games and play sets in the market that
encourage kids to build with their hands, or solve
puzzles.
• These are sure to keep them busy and also help
develop their skills.
• Old days village games like “Ganna Goti”, and many
chess like games also become attractive.
• Gift not only games but make them learn new old
games as well

• For grandchildren that just cannot get enough of your
childhood stories, a journal handwritten by you is a
wonderful book to read and preserve.

when you met your spouse, how you felt when their

• Take them to your ancestral village and let then

• A great way to encourage kids to play more and keep
at it is a Playstation.
• Most kids love the idea of it, and would love to show it
off to their friends as well.
• This is a gift that even the adults in the house can
enjoy.

• For a major occasion, you may choose to gift them
jewellery.
• A good idea is to buy something that they can use even
after growing up, so they always have a keepsake with
them.
• This option can be expensive, so you may want to gift
jewellery less often, or only on very special occasions.

• This is, in our opinion, the best gift you can
give them.
• If you live in a joint arrangement, you could
offer to teach them a skill you know.
• If you live in different cities, you could have
them come over in summer for a month full
of baking, eating and listening to stories.
• A lot of children love visiting their
grandparents during holidays and you can
make it all the more special by planning a
few activities for them.
