Have you ever been invited to a Women's Gifting Circle? I have been invited three times in the past few months. In the past few weeks more than five of my friends have been invited by multiple groups. "Gifting Circles" are not circles and the "gifts" are not gifts. These groups are illegal pyramid structures.
Learn more about the details, structure and non-viability of Gifting Circles. I describe in detail how they operate and ultimately fail. They neither create abundance nor empower women. These systems need to stop. We need REAL, sustainable economic empowerment opportunities for women, not scams.

The extractive wealth model is often masked in the clothes of the New Economy. The wolves in sheep’s-clothing range from network marketing companies that claim to help you become an entrepreneur to "manifesting abundance" with the Women's Gifting Circles. The presentation will feature illustrative diagrams that explain the difference between regenerative economics and extractive/exploitative economics (even ones that dominate our society). At the end of the slide deck you will be able to easily and quickly identify the toxic mimics and help your community avoid them.
Toxic systems are everywhere around us and they can be easily identified with simple math. This presentation features illustrative diagrams that explain the difference between healthy economics and unhealthy money systems (even ones that sound like they help people). At the end of the presentation you will be able to easily and quickly identify the toxic systems, understand how they impact your community and environment and know how to avoid them.
Studying Simon Sinek: Start With the Golden CircleChiara Ojeda
Most of us communicate from the outside in, but author Simon Sinek believes true inspiration comes when we start with why. This brief introduction to The Golden Circle is a teaching tool used in class.
This presentation focuses on how women's control of North American wealth is changing the way that money is flowing into the financial and philanthropic sectors.
Hilary Pearson, President of Philanthropic Foundations Canada (PFC) presents on Women and Philanthropy in Canada at CGAP's Female Futures of Philanthropy event.
Humans of Giving shares stories from real brand funded philanthropists who have made a difference. By gifting the experience of philanthropy, you are creating heroes.
If your nonprofit doesn’t have a solid outreach strategy to cultivate women donors and activists, your organization is missing out on huge opportunities to grow your advocacy and donor base. Why? Women account for 85% of all consumer purchases including everything from autos to health care to donating money to charity. In fact, women make contributions to twice as many charitable organizations as men do. Women also bring in half or more of the income in 55 percent of U.S. households. And Women ages 50 and older control a net worth of $19 trillion and own more than three-fourths of the nation’s financial wealth. Need more reasons to cultivate women? Women also volunteer much more than men do. Thirty-two percent of women, compared to just 25 percent of men, volunteer across every state, age group and education level. Join Allyson Kapin, Founding Partner of Rad Campaign and Women Who Tech, Jocelyn Harmon of Care2 and Wendy Harman of the American Red Cross for this exciting panel. During the session these seasoned marketers and nonprofit campaigners will give you the low down on:
· how powerful and important women are to the vitality of nonprofits including hard data that you can take back to the office and share with others.
· how to reach women across multiple channels ranging from direct mail to social media
· how to plan a multi-channel campaign to successfully reach women.
What is Cleantech? Cleantech is a broadly inclusive term that refers to companies and technologies that create jobs and deploy new innovations that improve environmental and social sustainability.
Why Idaho? To start, Idaho is rich in natural resources that make cleantech possible: Sun, wind, minerals, available land, and good soil.
Perhaps more importantly, Idaho is also rich in innovation, particularly in the renewable and battery industry. Idaho is stepping into the clean energy spotlight with startups like Joule Case, Retrolux, Clenera (acquired by…), Inovus Solar (acquired by Solar One), Solar Roadways, Kore Power, and Inergy. Idaho also leads with some of the nation’s top energy research institutions, Idaho National Laboratory (INL), leading research and development in batteries, solar, and grid modernization.
Idaho is also rich with smart, talented people working on the world’s biggest energy problems. The Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES), a collaboration between INL, Boise State University, University of Idaho, and Idaho State University, hosts over 8,000 researchers working to solve the greatest energy challenges. Also, Idaho hosts two large energy engineering firms, Power Engineers and McMillan-Jacobs, who are both leading in the energy innovation space. Additionally, Idaho is host to more than a dozen B Corp companies — all of which focus on using business as a force for good.
To support these innovators and push for smart economic policy that will create jobs in Idaho, a group of business leaders and policy advocates formed the Idaho Chapter of the CleanTech Alliance in 2020. Idaho Chapter Chair and Retrolux CEO, Leif Elgethun says “Cleantech makes sense in Idaho. We have all the ingredients to build a thriving clean energy industry that will create tens of thousands of additional living-wage jobs, protect our low cost of energy, and ensure our water, air, and land are clean for future generations.” Elgethun and other Idaho CTA members are working with local leaders to position Idaho for investment in cleantech startups, leading to long-term jobs, economic resilience, and a new energy solution and product export industry for Idaho.
With an abundance of wind, sun, affordable land, good academic institutions, support for tech and cleantech innovation, as well as a great quality of life, Idaho is well-poised to take the lead as the clean energy leader. Inc. predicts that Idaho will be the next Silicon Valley with the growth in technology startups. But do we really want to be “the next Silicon Valley?” Perhaps we can do better by investing in cleantech.
We have the key ingredients to build a prosperous clean energy and technology economy while staying true to Idaho’s core values — a sense of community, security, healthy lifestyle, and stewardship of natural resources.
Mining and the Race to Net Zero - The future of miningAmber Bieg
As the world progresses toward the renewable energy transition, the demand for minerals increases exponentially. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA) 2021 Net Zero by 2050 Report, critical mineral production needs to grow six times in order to combat climate change. It’s estimated that four to seven percent of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions come from the mining sector’s Scope 1 and 2 (direct and indirect) emissions. Including Scope 3 (upstream, downstream, and embedded) emissions, the sector accounts for 28% of global GHG emissions.
In a typical mining operation, diesel fuel is the biggest source of direct GHG emissions, and haulage is often the main source of diesel emissions. If a mine can electrify its hauling operations, it can significantly reduce GHG emissions and lower costs. Large haul trucks have been the industry standard for over 50 years and offer flexibility, relatively low capital cost (especially with equipment lease options), and guaranteed technology with known maintenance. The challenge will be to justify their continued use when there are more economical options that lead to significant reductions in GHG emissions.
Mining companies are racing to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions: Can they accomplish this? How will they get there? This presentation talks about pathways mining companies are taking to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and why it's so important.

Resume
• Real GDP growth slowed down due to problems with access to electricity caused by the destruction of manoeuvrable electricity generation by Russian drones and missiles.
• Exports and imports continued growing due to better logistics through the Ukrainian sea corridor and road. Polish farmers and drivers stopped blocking borders at the end of April.
• In April, both the Tax and Customs Services over-executed the revenue plan. Moreover, the NBU transferred twice the planned profit to the budget.
• The European side approved the Ukraine Plan, which the government adopted to determine indicators for the Ukraine Facility. That approval will allow Ukraine to receive a EUR 1.9 bn loan from the EU in May. At the same time, the EU provided Ukraine with a EUR 1.5 bn loan in April, as the government fulfilled five indicators under the Ukraine Plan.
• The USA has finally approved an aid package for Ukraine, which includes USD 7.8 bn of budget support; however, the conditions and timing of the assistance are still unknown.
• As in March, annual consumer inflation amounted to 3.2% yoy in April.
• At the April monetary policy meeting, the NBU again reduced the key policy rate from 14.5% to 13.5% per annum.
• Over the past four weeks, the hryvnia exchange rate has stabilized in the UAH 39-40 per USD range.
If you are looking for a pi coin investor. Then look no further because I have the right one he is a pi vendor (he buy and resell to whales in China). how can i use my minded pi coins I need some funds.DOT TECH
If you are interested in selling your pi coins, i have a verified pi merchant, who buys pi coins and resell them to exchanges looking forward to hold till mainnet launch.
Because the core team has announced that pi network will not be doing any pre-sale. The only way exchanges like huobi, bitmart and hotbit can get pi is by buying from miners.
Now a merchant stands in between these exchanges and the miners. As a link to make transactions smooth. Because right now in the enclosed mainnet you can't sell pi coins your self. You need the help of a merchant,
i will leave the telegram contact of my personal pi merchant below. 👇 I and my friends has traded more than 3000pi coins with him successfully.

when will pi network coin be available on crypto exchange.DOT TECH
There is no set date for when Pi coins will enter the market.
However, the developers are working hard to get them released as soon as possible.
Once they are available, users will be able to exchange other cryptocurrencies for Pi coins on designated exchanges.
But for now the only way to sell your pi coins is through verified pi vendor.

The European Unemployment Puzzle: implications from population agingGRAPE
We study the link between the evolving age structure of the working population and unemployment. We build a large new Keynesian OLG model with a realistic age structure, labor market frictions, sticky prices, and aggregate shocks. Once calibrated to the European economy, we quantify the extent to which demographic changes over the last three decades have contributed to the decline of the unemployment rate. Our findings yield important implications for the future evolution of unemployment given the anticipated further aging of the working population in Europe. We also quantify the implications for optimal monetary policy: lowering inflation volatility becomes less costly in terms of GDP and unemployment volatility, which hints that optimal monetary policy may be more hawkish in an aging society. Finally, our results also propose a partial reversal of the European-US unemployment puzzle due to the fact that the share of young workers is expected to remain robust in the US.

USDA Loans in California: A Comprehensive Overview
If you're dreaming of owning a home in California's rural or suburban areas, a USDA loan might be the perfect solution. The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) offers these loans to help low-to-moderate-income individuals and families achieve homeownership.
Key Features of USDA Loans:
Zero Down Payment: USDA loans require no down payment, making homeownership more accessible.
Competitive Interest Rates: These loans often come with lower interest rates compared to conventional loans.
Flexible Credit Requirements: USDA loans have more lenient credit score requirements, helping those with less-than-perfect credit.
Guaranteed Loan Program: The USDA guarantees a portion of the loan, reducing risk for lenders and expanding borrowing options.
Eligibility Criteria:
Location: The property must be located in a USDA-designated rural or suburban area. Many areas in California qualify.
Income Limits: Applicants must meet income guidelines, which vary by region and household size.
Primary Residence: The home must be used as the borrower's primary residence.
Application Process:
Find a USDA-Approved Lender: Not all lenders offer USDA loans, so it's essential to choose one approved by the USDA.
Pre-Qualification: Determine your eligibility and the amount you can borrow.
Property Search: Look for properties in eligible rural or suburban areas.
Loan Application: Submit your application, including financial and personal information.
Processing and Approval: The lender and USDA will review your application. If approved, you can proceed to closing.
USDA loans are an excellent option for those looking to buy a home in California's rural and suburban areas. With no down payment and flexible requirements, these loans make homeownership more attainable for many families. Explore your eligibility today and take the first step toward owning your dream home.

The Problem With Gifting Circles - It isn't a Gift or a Circle
1. The problem with
“Gifting Circles”
It isn’t a Gift or a Circle
To read the blog, visit www.green-ideas.com
2. Why am I doing this?
This
information
is needed
I am
passionate
I have the
knowledge
More than five of my
closest friends have
been invited into a
“Gifting Circle” in the
past three weeks.
I am committed
to a radical re-
visioning of our
economy one
that moves into
alignment with
Earth’s rate of
regeneration
I have spent a good
portion of my
career exploring
economic
empowerment
of women.
I have been invited
to three different
“gifting circles.”
3. This is URGENT!
“Gifting Circles” have caught like wildfire
Most women
don’t understand
that this type of
growth always
has a collapse
Many women are in
desperate economic
situations
The women who
profit don’t see
other women in
the subsequent
circles get hurt
Women need
to understand
the math on
why this
system isn’t
sustainable.The more
women
involved, the
more get hurt.
Turning $5k
into $40k is
very alluring
4. The economic need is significant
Over 24 million
women live
below the
poverty line in
the US
25% of women
with infants live
in poverty
Only 6% of
mothers in
poverty receive
public
assistance
Women are desperate
for new economic
opportunities
That enable
them to
provide for
their families
Women need truly
sustainable economic
opportunities
We need sustainable alternatives to an unhealthy economic system!
5. What you will see in this presentation
Introduction to a Gifting Circle
The Visual Math of Gifting Circles
Why They Must Always Collapse
The Impacts and Consequences
Sustainable Alternatives
6. “Each woman gives a gift of $5,000 to another
woman to support her in financial empowerment and
manifesting her dreams.”
“Each woman moves through the circle, arriving at
the Dessert position, where you receive eight gifts of
$5,000, totaling $40,000.”
“The Circle is a way to achieve personal growth,
remove blocks to manifesting, and participate in a
path to personal empowerment that teaches us to
support each other on many levels.”
I was invited to a “Gifting Circle” called
“Women Empowering Women” where:
7. Why the Gifting Circle attracted me
A close group of women
creating abundance together
Money - I could turn $5,000 into
$40,000 in just a couple of months –
this could pay back my student loans
or help with a house downpayment!
Sisterhood - I could have an amazing
support group of other spiritual
women – something that I have been
missing in my life.
Trust - A close trusted friend invited
me – she and I share a lot of the
same values and perspectives on the
world.
8. This is what I was told about the circle
“Our Circle is NOT a hierarchy; it is a
Circle. There is no one at the ‘top’ or
at the ‘bottom.’ Unlike a ‘pyramid,’
women are constantly cycling
through ALL the positions on the
Circle.”
“Since the early 1980’s, this circle
has remained unbroken, and has
grown in numbers, strength and
integrity. Today it is a powerful
moving force, providing many
blessings to the women who
participate.”
“Nobody loses in order for you to
win. Our intention is to benefit
women, PERIOD.”
“It's very important that we
understand we are truly giving a gift
when we come into the Circle, like a
birthday or Christmas present. It is
not an investment.”
9. Sounds great right? But . . .
Here is what I learned:
I researched the legal issues . . .
I did the math . . .
Something didn’t seem right . . .
10. The Story of a Gifting Circle
Dessert
The first woman didn’t make any
investment, but suggested that the women
who followed her could earn 8x on their “gift.”
She asked them to “trust their intuition and
disregard the negativity bias perpetuated by
patriarchal nay-sayers.”
The circle I was invited to used a “dinner party” theme to differentiate the levels

20. Can’t it just grow forever?
Human Population = Probably Not
Sustainable: Growth at our current
rate of consumption of the Earth’s
ecosystem resources will probably
lead to ecosystem collapse.
Gifting Circle = Not Sustainable: The
growth quickly exceeds economic
resource capacity (ability to bring in
new women at $5,000), inevitably
leading to collapse.
Growth That Exceeds Resource Capacity Always Leads to Collapse!
Population
doubling time for
the Gifting Circle is
6 months.
Global population
doubling time is
approximately
25 years.
21. But isn’t abundance infinite?
Gifting Circle Limit: At round 31
in the gifting circle, the number
of participants required is 17
billion women, investing $85
trillion, exceeding our economic
and human capacity.
Economic Limit: The total human
population on Earth is 7 billion
people and the value of the
global economy is $69 trillion. It
is estimated that the Earth can
only support about 12 billion
people.
In the non-physical
realm, abundance
is infinite, for
example:
Love = infinite
Joy = infinite
The physical world
is finite: We are
limited by
population, econo
my, etc.
It’s exciting to live in a finite world. It causes us to be more creative!
22. But what about The Law of Attraction
(thought + allowance = manifestation)?
The Law of Attraction isn’t
about fixating on a material
object, such as money. Money
rarely brings the happiness or
“abundance” we think it
should.
The way to manifest using the Law of Attraction is to focus
on the feeling of abundance and gratitude, which will
bring more abundance and gratitude, arriving in the form
most authentic to what is really desired, often not in the
form of money.
“I’m not hurting anyone else by manifesting
financial abundance for myself, right?”
Manifesting “abundance” does not
necessarily mean manifesting money.
Within the “gifting
circle” structure, in
order for some to win,
most women lose
23. In order for the “Desserts” to profit,
at least 88% must lose their money

27. Many women who join gifting circles

used her student

gifting circle
One woman
cashed out her

participate
I know at least
three women
who have
borrowed money

28. The top 12% are taking from their
community (friends and family)!
What does the loss of $35 million do to a community? How does this impact friendships?
29. I haven’t yet measured the economic
impact, but it has ruined friendships . . .
It destroys trust
It creates a feeling
of inequality
Fosters feelings of
hurt or judgment
I have heard many stories of broken friendships and have
personally experienced the loss of friendship because of my
lack of support for a friend’s participation

Dessert could reinvest her entire $40k, replacing all the other appetizers for ONE group (but since the
group split, the need is now $80k). Also if she wants the 8x return (like $5k to $40K), she would need
to invest in 8 different groups and help bring in 64 new appetizers to make that happen.

36. It’s a Pyramid!
One that grows through repetition, not accretion (like MLMs) . . .
Instead of one big pyramid, you end up with a bunch of small pyramids
that replicate faster than rabbits – yikes!
37. And the “gift” is not a gift
ANY expectation or hope of financial
return by definition means that it isn’t a
gift.
If the “Appetizers” were truly giving a gift
without expecting a return, why do they
try to move up to the “Dessert” position?
There are many reasons women
participate, but the biggest one is the
hope of a $40,000 return. If this weren’t
so, many women would also be
participating in abundance circles that
don’t involve a financial commitment. I
don’t know anyone participating in such a
group.
If women were truly in the circle to gift
$5,000 to someone in need, the structure
would look very different – more like a
philanthropic organization or charity (it
would probably have the tax exempt
status too).
38. If it isn’t a circle or a gift, what is it?
It’s an Investment Pyramid!
39. Which is why it’s illegal
Learn the Law!

ral/pyramid_schemes

Participation is a felony governed under the “endless chain scheme law.”
Have you ever heard of a Ponzi Scheme or Bernie Madoff?
40. A number of women who reached
“Dessert” have felony convictions
Guilford, Connecticut –
May 2013 - two women
found guilty and sentenced to
14 years in prison for
conspiracy, fraud, and tax
evasion.
Sacramento, California –
2003, 20 women arrested.
Plead guilty to felony
charges, paid $150,000 each
in fines.
This is much worse than getting caught with a few illegal plants . . .

46. Why “Gifting Circles” or Investment Pyramids Don’t Work
You will probably lose your money (you only have a 12% chance of
winning).
If you win, you do so by taking from other women.
It doesn’t empower women or increase abundance!
It’s an illegal pyramid scheme – you could face jail time.
It isn’t sustainable! It requires 8x growth, inevitably leading to
collapse.
There are many other ways to invest or give $5,000. There are many
sustainable systems and circles that actually empower women.

Remember . . . “Gifting Circles” are not circles and the “gifts” are not gifts.
These groups are neither creating abundance nor empowering women.
Editor's Notes
Each gave her $5,000, she promised that together they could bring more women into the group to give gifts and that they too could get $40,000.
