Vince Miserandino, a physical education teacher, was inspired by CrossFit to implement it at the St. John's Preparatory School. He became CrossFit certified and saw immediate benefits for his students' performance. Next fall, the school will offer CrossFit 101 as the first high school credit course in CrossFit, focusing on goal setting, training, and literature. The class aims to improve students' health and set an example for physical education curricula.
