RMSD: routine measure stirs doubts
RMSD (root mean square deviation) is commonly used to measure the geometric difference between molecular conformations, but it has limitations. It reduces multiple atomic distance comparisons to a single number, missing important details. While useful, RMSD may be insufficient on its own and larger values should be inspected more closely. A presentation on my analysing the horror genre and how my short film will adhere and challenge the genre conventions.
Genre conventions
Horror films employ several cinematography, sound, and editing techniques to increase tension and frighten audiences. Close-ups are used to heighten emotions and create discomfort by showing graphic details. Non-diegetic sounds like loud music build tension, while screams and effects scare viewers. Fast editing, like quick montages or cross-cutting between scenes, stresses audiences and tricks them. Common settings isolate characters in frightening locations. Costumes become torn throughout to indicate danger, while villains have dark, masked appearances to blend into scenes.
Analysis of zombieland- Cheyenne

In this summary, three key points are made about how meaning is created in film:

Sound, camera techniques, lighting, and props are used to build an unsettling atmosphere and lead the audience to make incorrect judgments. The film challenges horror conventions by subverting expectations with an unexpected twist. It shows how audiences can make premature judgments based on certain cues without understanding the full context.

to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
