The Department of General and Applied Economics was founded in 2011 and currently has 12 lecturers, including 1 Doctor of Sciences and 6 PhDs. The department's research focuses on methodology of food market management, regional economic modernization through cluster development, and trends in socio-economic systems. Research results include 2 monographs, 9 articles, and 66 theses published in conferences. The faculty overall has defended 24 PhDs and 6 doctorates in 20 years, published over 100 articles, and participated in over 20 research projects.
