1. Field Service Auditor
Role Summary
Responsible for auditing and monitoring internal processes and/or customer accounts to ens
ure compliance. Completes simple to moderate financial audits of existing
and prospective clients. Conducts
high quality inventory inspections of multiple products at dealerships within Canada.
Essential Responsibilities
· Reviews and recommends approval requests and ensures all operating and action
measures are completed within established timeframes.
· Primary focus (80%) is to review and audit financial records such as bank
statements, bills of sale, etc. to ensure compliance with repayment terms
· Ensures timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries, questions,
documentation issues, billing errors, disputes, program changes, and opportunities
· Compiles information needed to meet reporting requests
· Performs physical inspections (20%) of dealer inventories and reconcile with
Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) records through effective communications with
account managers
· Assesses condition of collateral with prompt and accurate reporting to confirm
CDF's collateralized position
· Collects all funds due to CDF and conducts repossessions based on direction from
CDF
· Plans effective routing of inspections to ensure maximum risk containment with
minimum input from Field Manager
· Responsible for maintaining work equipment, including GE Company car, laptop
computer, printer, and Personal Data Entry (PDE) Device
· Identifies and reports potential business opportunities
· Maintains professional relationships with CDF's customer (dealer) base
· Completes all tasks as assigned
2. Field Service Rep
As an Field Service Representative (FSR) you will verify dealer compliance with CDF
inventory security agreements and program letters by conducting physical collateral
inspections and related audits of books and records. Identify and reports problems, as well
as potential business opportunities. Represents the company in an assigned territory and
maintains professional relationships with CDF's customer (dealer) base.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Perform physical inspections of dealers' inventories and reconcile with CDF records
through effective communications with account managers/appropriate customer
representatives.
* Assess condition of collateral. Promptly and accurately report findings via daily uploads to
confirm CDF's collateralized position.
* Collect funds on behalf of CDF for charges, curtailments, sold and unpaid units (SAUs),
mature items, deductibles, demonstrators, service charges, insurance charges or other
miscellaneous charges.
* Audit/examine dealers' records in order to ensure compliance with CDF's repayment
and/or remittance agreements. Identify and promptly report discrepancies/deviations to
territory manager and/or account managers/appropriate customer representatives
* Communicate adjustments or account problems related to misapplied/unapplied funds,
credit balances and/or disputed payments to territory manager and, account
managers/appropriate customer representatives both verbally and in writing.
* Plan effective routing of inspections to ensure maximum risk containment with minimal
input from territory manager.
* Conduct repossessions and collateral reclamations based upon audits of dealers' records.
* Obtain financial statements, insurance binders and other pertinent documentation from
dealers, as needed.
