IIT Roorkee will organize GATE 2017, with online applications starting September 1st, 2016 and ending October 4th, 2016. GATE 2017 will be conducted online as a computer-based test on February 4-5 and February 11-12, 2017. Results will be announced on March 27, 2017 and scores will be valid for three years. The application fee for GATE 2017 is Rs. 1500 for general candidates, Rs. 750 for women and reserved category candidates. GATE covers various engineering subjects and tests general aptitude.

 The Engineering Mathematics will carry
around 15% of the total marks, the General
