This document outlines the structure and requirements for the G325: Critical Perspectives exam. The exam has two sections: Section A involves two compulsory questions requiring reflective evaluation of skills and conceptual analysis of media projects. Students have 30 minutes for each answer requiring at least 2 pages. Section B focuses on contemporary media issues like postmodern media in film, TV and video games. G325: Critical perspectives This is a very hard exam - ‘Stretch and Challenge’ Be exam smart – learn the rules, play the game Exams are a giant competition – you are ‘playing’ 13000 other students Wolverhampton is the rump of the educational world – being one of the best here is nowhere near good enough Listen carefully to the Senior Examiner in the room – many students got As and Bs in this unit last year – this was no accident

Through specific case studies of texts, debates and research, candidates must prepare to demonstrate understanding of the contemporary issue.
