I had no problems with the facilities provided to us, either in the Guest House or in the Dining Hall.When I was sick, I was looked after very well, and got well quickly.I enjoyed going to the different places with my friends. I learned a lot about the places we visited. The annual programmes also impressed me. The calm and peaceful atmosphere helped me to focus on the things that needed to be done.

This mail is to give the required report of the Pondicherry trip:-
I have enjoyed going to Pondicherry and Auroville with my friends.This trip
has taught me how to be self reliant and the importance of time management
to succeed in one’s endeavours.I really enjoyed the various places that we
visited in Pondicherry and Auroville. Some of my favourites were the Reptile
Park, the Lycee Francais International School, and the Botanical Gardens.
The atmosphere in Pondicherry was very different from what we are used to in
Kolkata. Personally I found the meditations in The Samadhi to be very helpful
as it helped me to prepare for the activities of the day ahead. I also liked
playing football in the ground of the Udavi school which was an exciting hour
of games with friends. Overall, I really liked this trip and would certainly
recommend future batches to go there.

Dear Teachers
The Pondicherry Trip was truly an unbelievable experience for me. This was
the first time I had ever gone on a trip with my friends. I have learnt many
things during this trip. Mahabalipuram has shown me the amount of
knowledge people had in architecture during that time. The Performance on
3. 2nd December showed me that people of all ages can do anything if they
wish. Staying in the dorm with my friends was also a new experience that in
my opinion was very fun and exciting. The Trips on the bus was a true
bonding session where me and all of our classmates enjoyed the view
together , sang together and also slept together. The Long walks were
stressful but on the bright side it made us all fit. I found the food in the dining
hall quite nice, Volunteering for the service was very fun despite all the effort
you have to put in it. I also made some kind people while volunteering.
Learning about the Mother and Sri Aurobindo was quite interesting.
This is truly a one in a life time experience that I will never Forget

Our school had recently scheduled a trip to Pondicherry. I enjoyed the trip a
lot. I loved the various places we visited but the beach which we visited was
my favorite. in the beginning I was feeling homesick but gradually I started
enjoying the company between my friends. The bonding between my friends,
teachers and I gradually increased. This trip will have a special place in my
heart for the rest of my life. This trip has become has become a learning
experience for me.

My report about Pondicherry is as follows –
4. Pondicherry officially called Puducherry is one of the seven union territory of
India and is a beautiful seaside town where everyone can find a perfect blend
of Indian and French traditions. This city is in the state of Tamil Nadu and we
can experience the tamil culture very well. Also in the French colony , the
French architectural style and culture is merged with Tamil culture.
Pondicherry is a place where we can find peace, scenic beaches, rich culture
and a lot more. Matrimandir in Auroville was founded by Sri Aurobindo and his
spiritual collaborator -The Mother. From Matrimandir in Auroville I brought
back pride which is not of expensive things and materialistic matters but of
spiritual upliftment. We visited Mahabalipuram , where the stone carvings,
scenic beaches and the magnificent historical places add to the grandeur of
the place. There is a Shiva Lingam which is enshrined in the building. We
also had visited Great Lakes, an IIM institute where we had enriching
experience. While going to the trip I was very excited but while returning I
came back as a matured human being.

Our journey to Pondicherry, which we were eagerly waiting for , started on
the night of 23rd November, 2022, a journey which created the most ever
memories to cherish for a lifetime. On reaching Chennai, we headed straight
to the Great Lakes Institute of Management where to our surprise, we got to
meet our Respected Principal sir with his family and friend. Our next
destination was Mahabalipuram where we saw the Pancha Pandava stone,
Pancha Rathas and the shore temple. The second day of our visit was to the
Auroville, where we adored the Matri Mandir- Divine Home, an exhibition on
musical instruments named SVARAM. The third day was a adventurous day
with a trekking to the Gingee Fort and viewing the Ranganathan Temple. We
also visited the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate
Conception Cathedral. Fourth day was a visit to the cottage industry, Physical
education Centre and the Samadhi .We were given few hours of shopping
5. time in the shop named Auroshikha. We also entertained ourselves with joyful
cultural programmes. Also there was cultural programmes by Manoj da which
enlightened us. Fifth day we went to laundry shop, spinning and weaving
industry and baking industry to learn the skills from them. Pradeep Da gave us
an enriching lecture on sience and made us realise the importance of
silence. The sixth day , the last day of our trip, we went to the Vinayaka
Temple thanking the divine for a healthy and blissful trip. With heavy hearts
and overflowing memories to cherish, we boarded our train back to the City of
Joy on 30th November, 2022. This trip to treasure, would not have been
possible without our beloved teachers and school authorities. A Humble
surrender to them.

Report for Pondicherry Trip
We the students of Class 9 reached Chennai Station at three in the morning
on 25th November 2022. On the way to Pondicherry by bus we visited
Mahabalipuram and Crocodile Bank. Though it was an exhausting day I felt
relaxed on reaching the Ashram which was not less than the home ambience.
Everyday we used to eat healthy food from the Ashram dining hall. We also
visited Auroville, the different places in the Ashram and Gingee Fort. I also
enjoyed the cultural program put up by our talented classmates. Overall, it
was a very enriching experience where I learnt to deal with my emotions,
learnt how to adapt and adjust to any place and with friends. This trip will
always remain in my heart as the most memorable one. Lastly I would like to
express my deepest gratitude towards my teachers who taught me how to be
independent.
