I see myself as a very hardworking loyal individual with over 30 years experience of working
within a laboratory enviroment and the manufacture of the formulations in a mixing / blending
department.

My entire working career to date since leaving school has been with LB Plastics Limited , LB
Plastics are manufacturers of extrusion products for the building industry .A family run business
that has been operating for some 90 years . the current headcount is 216
June 1983 - 1985 Junior laboratory Assistant
I left school at 16 and joined LB Plastics.My main duties consisted of routine testng on raw
materials and working on finished blends.Reporting into the shop floor supervisor
June 1985 - September 2005 Laboratory Analyst
Taking on more responsibility in the lab , i was at this point evaluating all window formulations and
powder blends ensuring all quality standards were achieved to B.S.I Kite regulations
I was also involved in
Testing of colours and temperatures to a high standard
Testing in -house and out sourced reclaim
Assessing the above , adjusting and controlling the levels ensuring consistency of blends in
readiness for extrusion of all the window frame section

I was still working in the laboratory and my main duties increased to -

Request levels of raw materials to meet demand.
Input data onto the computer system which includes , completed batches of blends using the
formulations to control stock of raw materials

Responsible for usage for reclaim

On moving onto staff payroll my duties were all of the above and i was now involved in running
the department
