2. “Thanks to the support of the Fulbright commission, this year has
been a memorable adventure in learning--how to live in a new
environment, to work in a new community, to help students learn,
and all the while, to keep listening. Though living and working in
France has not been a drastic change, it has been full of intricacies
that have taught me a lot about language and multicultural
exchange, and about different ways of understanding and
expression, which have been endlessly interesting to meditate on
and will provide valuable experience for any work I pursue
