BASIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
NB: FEES TO OBTAIN BANKING RECORDS ARE SUBJECT TO AMENDMENT because we are dependant on informants who are bank employees who dictate terms & conditions. However, if a fee changes, client will be informed before client is committed to a higher fee.
1. All items marked *** are CONIDENTIAL RECORDS that FSG obtains through CI. These records are provided on condition that client acknowledges that they will always be confidential between FSG and client, that these records will never be used as evidence in any interrogation, hearing
or litigation process, and that FSG shall never be revealed to be the source of such records/information. AN ORDER FOR A CONFIDENTIAL RECORD CANNOT BE CANCELLED ONCE PLACED regardless of whether such records take longer than indicated to obtain.
2. FSG will not commence any service unless FSG and client have first agreed to the scope of work of that service and either a fixed fee or an initial budget for that service. While FSG cannot guarantee that a service can be finalied for the quantum of an initial budget:
2.1 FSG warrants that it shall never do in any work in excess of what an agreed initial budget permits without first reverting to client and successfully motivating an additional budget.
2.2 FSG reserves the right to revert to client for an additional budget, and to cease further work if client refuses to agree to an additional budget when one is demonstrated to be necessary. If client refuses to agree to an additional budget, FSG's fee at that time shall be payable.
3. The BT (Base Tariff) of FSG applies per hour per investigator/auditor/consultant simultaneously assigned to the same task. However, FSG reserves the right to amend its BT upwards (subject to the agreement of client) in the event that we need to outsource specialist forensic
or other expertise, or in the event that we are exposed to excessive risk. FSG also reserve the right to assign more than one investigator/auditor/consultant to the same task without the consent of client if demanded by security risks, or if the work can be finalized correspondingly faster.
4. Requisite advance payments, which will be specified in response to enquiries/instructions, or in Service Proposals, must be made before FSG commences work on a client's instructions.
5. All outstanding fees are payable upon presentation of our official tax invoice and final report. Late payments are subject to interest at 2% per month (compounded).
6. FSG trades nationally from a Head Office in Durban and satellite offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and elsewhere. However, all enquiries/instructions must ONLY be addressed to our Durban Head Office (to fsg@fsgforensics.co.za if sent by email).
7. All fees quoted in this Tariff List EXCLUDE VAT.
