2. On this screen shot it shows that I am creating my pop music magazine using
Photoshop and this the first thing I done when creating my front cover. Firstly
I inserted my image that I taken of Danielle that I wanted to my main cover
image of my front cover, I also resized this image so that it fitted nicely in
the centre of the page . Moreover I used this image as the background is pink
and Danielle is wearing a brightly coloured top which links perfectly with my
genre pop as these colours are related with girls and teenage girls is my
target audience.

Photoshop this is the second screenshot of my front cover image being
created, on this screenshot I have inserted the title of my pop music
magazine which I have called it ‘teen pop’ as my genre is pop and my target
audience is teenage girls. My masthead is in pink glitzy text with a light pink
background on it as this will attract teenage girls into buying my magazine as
these colours relate with girls.

4. On this screen shot it shows that I am creating my pop music magazine using
Photoshop this is the third screenshot of my magazine and on this screenshot
I have added in a yellow straight line above the title ‘teen pop’ this line is to
break up the pink background and when I add text onto the yellow strip it
will stand out and catch the readers eye also I have used the colour yellow as
yellow connotes happiness and bright feeling which will attract my target
audience of teenage girls.

5. On this screen shot it shows that I am creating my pop music magazine using
Photoshop this is the fourth screenshot of my magazine and on this screenshot I have
added in names of popular artists and bands which will attract my target audience of
teenage girls into wanting to buy this magazine as they will want to read about there
favourite celebrities. I have done their names in pink text as pink is a very girly colour
and connotes love which will relate nicely with teenage girls also I have added in little
hearts between each name to break the text up and to also highlight that this is a girls
magazine and all girls enjoy drawing hearts when they are bored so this will easily
attract them into buying this magazine.

6. On this screen shot it shows that I am creating my pop music magazine using Photoshop this is the
fifth screenshot of my magazine and on this screenshot I have added in my main cover line which
links to my main image this is why this is the second biggest piece of text on my front cover, this
cover line will hopefully attract my readers as they will want to know what Dani has done to shock
her parents forcing them into buying this magazine, I have used fancy writing as this font links
nicely in with girls as it is very girly also the yellow colour makes it stand out against the pink
background which these two colours link well together not causing any clashing of colours. Lastly as
the is a quote this will really interest my target audience as they know this is true words and not
made up. Moreover I have added the barcode which is used on every magazine to indicate the price
I have put it in the bottom left hand corner as this is where nearly every magazine puts theirs I
found this out from researching into pop magazines.

7. On this screen shot it shows that I am creating my pop music magazine using Photoshop this is the
sixth screenshot of my magazine and on this screenshot I have added in a second cover line story.
Firstly I have used the pink straight line shape with the white text of the main title of that cover
line, the white texts links nicely against the pink background the pink and white stand out making
it easier for the readers to see this cover line which will attract my target audience of teenage
girls into buying my magazine. Moreover I have then added in the name of who this story is going to
be about which is in black large text to stand out and make it as clear as possible who this story is
about, lastly I have then added in a rhetorical question which the audience want answer unless
they read this magazine forcing them into buying this magazine, also this text is in red which
connotes love which will attract girls.

8. On this screen shot it shows that I am creating my pop music magazine using Photoshop this is
the seventh screenshot of my magazine and on this screenshot I have added in my two
subsidiary images, these two images out the people that the cover lines are of. I have took the
image of these people against a pink wall as the main background as my main colour scheme is
pink and is a girly colour which will attract my target audience of teenage girls also then I have
add a white boarder around these images to make them stand out more against everything else
on my front cover as if people see these people that they like they will want to know what the
proper story is behind them forcing them into buying this magazine to found out more.

9. On this screen shot it shows that I am creating my pop music magazine using Photoshop this is
the eighth screenshot of my magazine and on this screenshot I have added in three smaller
images along the bottom of this page of artists who are going to be featured in this magazine
more giving my target audience a slight hint of what is inside to hopefully persuade him into
buying this magazine. Also I had added a white boarder around these images to make the
pictures stand out more and break the colours of pink up, added the names of the artists so that
my target audience know would is it is and lastly the barcode so my buyers know how much this
magazine is going to cost them to buy also I have added the website for my magazine so that
people can research more about this magazine.

10. On this screen shot it shows that I am creating my pop music magazine using
Photoshop this is the ninth screenshot of my magazine and on this screenshot I
have added in more text explaining what else is inside of my magazine such as an
interview with Ed Sheeran, but to add more detail and more my magazine look
more appealing I have added to circles on top of one another using a pink and
purple sticking to the teen girly colours so it attracts more of my target audience,
then I created smaller white circles to go around the larger circles to make it
stand out more then added the text inside of the circles making the word ‘best’
stand out in a different colour a yellow so that the readers know that this is this
years best interview highlighting it cant be missed.
