fresh water biome.
 Platypuses feed on insect larvae, worms ,and other
fresh water insects.
 Its biggest threats are snakes, rats, and foxes.

 It creates burrows for shelter.
 Platypus have enough venom to kill a small dog.
 The platypus have three layers of skin there first layer is
to keep the from freezing.

 A platypus is a mammal, but it lays eggs
 The can stay underwater for 10 min.
 The can consume their own body weight in food in a 24
hour period.
