• Google Free Zone was announced by Google on
November 8, 2012, with a launch in the Philippines in
partnership with Globe Telecom…
• In June 2013, Google launched Google Free Zone in
India in partnership with mobile Internet provider
AirTel.
INTRODUCTION
• Free Zone powered by Google, is an innovative service that
allows us to access Google mobile services on the go for
free!
• You'll incur absolutely no data costs! Now with your
internet-enabled mobile on the network we can :
1. Search on Google and browse the internet for FREE
2. Send and read emails on Gmail for FREE
3. Stay connected with your friends on Google+ for FREE
4. Brows All the Services of Google For FREE
HOW TO USE FREE ZONE ???
• Just visit http://g.co/freezone from your phone's internet
browser.
• Then start searching or sign in with your Google
account to access Gmail or Google+.
• If you don't have a Google account, create one at no cost
and login with it.
• While Browsing We can see a green
line on the top of the page, It
indicate that This is a free page
• We get 1 GB of data every month.
• If we open a web page which is not covered under Free Zone,
We see a Message “ if you continue you will need to pay the
data charges ”
ADVANTAGES
• Ease to Use & FREE.
• 1 GB Free internet data every month.
• All Google service are FREE.
• No Data Roaming (No matter whatever the SIM card).
• Emergency Use.
• No Data pack needed.
• Good option for those who have minimal usage, like reading
email, using Google+ and searching.
DISADVANTAGES
• Slow Speed.
• Must have Google Account.
• Extra charge applied after the free data.
• If Google A/c has 2 – Step Verification, Free Zone Won’t
work.
• We can access it only via Mobile Phone.
