LAND USE LAND COVER AND NDVI OF MIRZAPUR DISTRICT, UPRAHUL
This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
crucial for coordinated efforts across different administrative levels. Advanced technologies like

Angels Demons follows the journey of Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon, as he tries to stop
what seems to be the Illuminati the Enlightened ones, a legendary secret society, from destroying
the Vatican City with the newly discovered power of antimatter. CERN director Maximilian
Kohler discovers one of the facility s most respected physicists, Leonardo Vetra was cold
heartedly murdered in his own secluded, private quarters at the facility. His chest was branded with
a symbol the word Illuminati , formed as an ambigram, using a hot iron and his eye torn out
mercilessly. Instead of calling the police, Kohler researches the topic on the Internet and finally and
quite fortunately gains contact with Professor Langdon, an expert on symbology and avid
researcher on ancient hostory.Kohler requests his assistance in uncovering the mystery and get hold
of the murderer. What Langdon discovers at the murder scene frightens the hell out of him: The
symbol appears to be authentic much to his surprise, and the legendary secret society, long thought
to be defunct or dormant, seems to have resurfaced to make some noise. Kohler calls Vetra s
adopted daughter Vittoria to the scene and it is later revealed that the Illuminati has also stolen a

5. An Essay About Love, Our Supreme Emotion, By Daniel Gilbert
There are many distinctive definitions when it comes to the word happiness. Two psychologists, in
particular, are thoroughly investigating the science behind this feeling. Barbara Fredrickson, who
wrote the essay, Selections from Love 2.0: Love, Our Supreme Emotion, focuses on formulating
positive connections with people through micro moments. She believes that these conscious
interactions are beneficial to positive resonance and to our mental well being. On the contrary,
Daniel Gilbert, who wrote the essay Immune to Reality, discusses how our brain exploits the
ambiguity of bad experiences and unconsciously softens its sting. By doing so, we become immune
to reality. Even though Fredrickson believes that accumulating conscious... Show more content on

The process of neural coupling makes people have empathy. Empathy is something that you gain
when you feel other people s emotions. It can only be earned when you understand one s pain.
According to Fredrickson, these conscious acts can only be reached by sharing a unified
connection. When talking to people, you typically share a smile or you attentively pay attention
to their expressions. By doing so, you can reach the level of happiness that you deserve. Yet,
Gilbert would say that all these emotions are not possible. You have to rely on your unconscious
during these types of moments. These are rare moments that you typically share between family,
friends, or strangers. Usually, we rely on our psychological immune system to make us happy. If
the process is typically unconscious, how do we know that what we are feeling in Love 2.0 is a
real connection between a stranger or soul mate? This concludes that Fredrickson s theory needs
to be assisted by Gilbert s. Another conscious process that Fredrickson discusses is how oxytocin
is used in social relationships. This hormone makes people attend more to eyes and become
specifically more attuned to their smiles, especially subtle ones. Perhaps because of the closer
attention you pay to people s smiles and eyes, you become a better judge of their feelings
(Fredrickson 115). Although Fredrickson makes it seem that this is essential for happiness, she is

6. Describe Your Happy Place
Where is your happy place? I grew up on the mid north coast of NSW in a small town called
Valla Beach which was nestled between the bush and the beach. Because it was such a small
town in which most people knew each other, I was granted relative freedom to roam the native
environment and explore. I have very fond memories of riding my scooter up and down the
streets with my friends and neighbours, cantering through the bush in front of my house, making
up stories about my life if I had lived there and spending all day on the beach, crisping in the sun.
Being inside seemed like such a dull affair when you could be immersed in a different world, a
natural world. I feel as if these early life experiences led me to always have a special connection
with the natural environmentas it was the one true place that I could seek comfort and clarity my
happy place.
Across the road from my house was extensive bushland that stretched a few kilometres until it
was cut off by the highway. In many ways, it was my childhood playground. There was a small
dam in the bushland that I often took my dog to play fetch and cool off. There was a bush track
that winded up and down hills and ended in a small little clearing and there was also dirt bike
tracks that a local boy had made from scrap materials. When I was 12, a housing development
crew came to town and begun marking out the land to demolish to build new estates and within
weeks they were underway. They began draining the dam to make way

7. The Atom And The Atomic Of The Energy Level Of Its Electrons
This energy will excite the affected atom, raising the energy level of its electrons. If these electrons
are excited past the range of the nuclei s binding attractive force, then the electron will jettison from
the atom. These two particles, the ionized atom and electron, are now detectable indicating the
presence of a neutron. This is the material ionization phenomenon (Crane and Baker). The nuclear
reaction induction phenomenon occurs when a larger nucleus is struck by a neutron. There is a
probability that the nucleus will absorb the neutron and become unstable. This instability results in
the decay of gamma rays or other particles such as alpha particles and protons. These particles are
easily detected and also indicate the presence... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the conversion of alternating current to direct current, electrons from alternating current will also
enter the diode on the left. However, in part to the oscillating nature of alternating current, the diode
output of direct current will be relatively choppy, since electrons can only move towards the electron
holes in the P type semiconductor (Kuphaldt).
As a result of the choppy nature of the direct current output, a capacitor is used to smooth the
electron fluxes (Copello). A capacitor is an electrical component that stores charge. In its most
basic form, a capacitor is made up of two metal plates with an insulated layer between them (
Capacitors ). As the electrons flow into the capacitor, their concentration and charge builds up on
one plate. Additionally, due to the repulsive nature of electrons, the buildup of electrons on one
plate will push the electrons from the other plate, creating a current out of the capacitor (
Capacitors ). This makes one plate positively charged and the other negatively charged. At this
point, the capacitor is storing energy. So, the capacitor smooths the fluctuating direct current by
slowly releasing its charge between input spikes ( Capacitors ). This generates a more consistent
flow of direct current to the electric grids.
Another primary component of the Farnsworth Fusor is its two concentric electrical grids. The DC
current produced by the diode will be run

As stories like Moniques and other people demonstrates, there are policies out there that just
simply do not work.. One is called zero tolerance policies, and while these succeed at sending the
message that bullying is not tolerated, there are several problems with them. Nora M. Findlay
believes, One of the most serious problems inherent in zero tolerance is that it treats dissimilar
problems in a similar way (6). Secondly, Students and teachers may be less likely to report and
address bullyingif suspension or expulsion is the consequence (United States Department of

mediation, and conflict resolution. The United States Department of Health and Human
Services stresses, Conflict involves antagonism among two or more people. Whereas any two
people can have a conflict (or a disagreement or a fight) bullying only occurs when there is a
power imbalance where one child has a hard time defending himself or herself ( Myths about

Throughout their lives, each and every person will endure struggles. While these can vary greatly,
each must be handled in the proper way. When it is time to face the music, some people opt to
face it head on, while others choose to take them step by step. Over the course of his battles with
marital and financial issues, John Cheever, author of many short stories and longtime partner of the
The New Yorkerdecided instead to push these issues out of his mind. By utilizing self delusion he,
like many of his characters, were able to cope with the ever changing world around them, but

the midst of his struggles with marriage and finances are mirrored in the actions and words of his
characters and the themes which his stories portray.
Like many of his literary characters, John Cheever began his life in the suburbs, in Quincy,
Massachusetts along with his parents and brother Frederick. The child of well to do parents,
Cheever s father was the owner of a prosperous shoe sale business. They lived comfortably for
much of his childhood, however, during the depression with the economy failing, the business was

returning from overseas, who have been actively engaged in combat operations overseas. Although
PTSD is not limited to solely service men and women, it can occur in children and civilians, who

and have extreme difficulties integrating in a society that is not threating. This is one of the
biggest factors impeding in reintegrating in society, called turning it off which is simply trying to
transition from one extreme to the other after prolonged exposure. Many factors hinder the
transition, such as hyper vigilance; always scanning for threats and on the edge, anticipating
something negative is going to happen. There are many triggers that Veterans associate their
traumatic experiences with, and these include certain smells, sounds, sights, and so on. These
triggers act as a reminder of the horrific events that occurred in the past, and remind the person of
the event, and even re live the event as if it is taking place in real time. These are only a few
examples of what most Veterans experience and live with on a day to day basis, as the list and
conditions can go on and on. Because PTSD typically occurs soon after the traumatic event occurs,
early intervention needs to take place. A common means of early intervention for persons suffering
from PTSD is known as psychological debriefing (PD). PD attempts to lessen or prevent
psychological damage by utilizing specialized debriefing methods. This tries to target the triggers

Product Demand Life Cycle Impact on the Marketing Mix All products must move through
product life cycles. Often the cycles move through each of the four stages: entry or introduction,

cycles can last for hundreds of years (Coke). As a product moves through its life cycle, the
marketing approach must be adapted to attempt to maintain success or achieve it. The Coca Cola
Companywants for all of their products to be as successful as their number one product, Coke, but

12. War Criticism Of War
Is war really kind? Is war really worth countless men dying? Throughout history, war has been
seen as glorious, but in reality, critics of war argue it is not. Family members die, young lives are
lost every day, and many other things convey that war is ugly and negative. Authors such as
Wilfred Owen(foot soldier who fought and died serving for his country in world war one), Stephen
Crane(war correspondent who covered the Spanish American war), Kevin Powers(soldier who
fought in Iraq), and Tim O Brien(soldier who fought in Vietnam), have written stories and poems to
prove this. These authors will use imagery, irony, and structure to protest War and to illustrate how
negative war is.
To begin with, in the poem Dulce et Decorum Est, by Wilfred Owen, and War is Kind, by Stephen
Crane, imagery is used to protest War. In the poem Dulce et Decorum Est, by Wilfred Owen,
imagery is demonstrated to protest War by showing us how horrific and deadly war is. In stanza
two the author states, GAS! GAS! Quick, boys! An ecstasy of fumbling.....Dim, through the
misty panes and thick green light, as under a green sea (Owen). Based on the reading one can see
how visual imagery is being used. Owen fought in World War One and he is trying to convey an
image of the gas attack, he was a part of in this war. This is important because Owen puts these
words in the poem to give an image of how he saw war and to give us a picture of how deadly the
war was. Owen is protesting War by saying in his poem

The film fits into the usual Bond criteria. It has explosions, guns, gadgets, girls (foreign girls of
course), chases and cars. There are many close escapes; the best being when Bond escapes from
the nuclear facility in Azabaizan. He is propelled out of the secret tunnels followed by a huge
fireball.
The stunts and special effects are staggering. How did they get Bond to fall from an exploding
balloon on to the Dome and bounce down as if was a perfectly normal activity? How did they
blow up an entire mountain? At the climatic ending Bond escapes from the villains lair with a girl,
whilst blowing the whole place up! The stunt people and special effects people must have

bringing out the best in Pierce Brosnan, the cool shaken, not stirred Bond and the evil Renard,

Midnight Memories We have all heard the saying, nothing good happens after midnight . Many of
the largest cities in the United States have enacted laws on curfews for young adults under the age
of 18 years old. These laws are positioned to respond, in a positive manner, to the problems that
arise when minors are out at all times of the night. These problems can cause an unsafe environment
for not only the youth, but for the general public out late at night. Although curfews are not enacted
in all major cities, this law is initiated to protect minors because it aids in reducing crime; assisting
parents in setting boundaries for their children; and protecting non delinquents from being the
victim of a crime. In the United States, metropolitan areas consistently battle controlling the crime
rate in their cities. Crimes committed by minors during curfewhours make up 84 percent of the 88
percent of the crime that take place during curfew hours (City Mayor). By placing a curfew on
minors, we are getting them off the streets that could be filled with career criminals. The law
encourages minors to be in their homes and in a safe environment instead of being influenced to
participate in misguided activities while being out at night. Some examples of misguided activities
might be: drag racing, vandalism, trespassing and drug use. In a new survey by the National
League of Cities, 97 percent of cities and towns with nighttime curfews report a drop in juvenile
crime (Connect

16. The British Position s Position On The Morality Continuum
A major difference between 1956 and the 1930s was the British position s position on the morality
continuum. The Anti Appeasement position championed by Churchill during the 1930s had aged
very well. By 1956 the horrors of world war two were still fresh memories for all adult Britons and
Churchill s historical writings seemed to cement this view.
At a time when the evils of imperialism were becoming more apparent and resented a great deal of
British pride was sourced from standing up to fascism in 1939 and ultimately winning.
Illegal, unilateral military intervention in Suez on the back of a legal nationalisation of a foreign
owned asset had all the hallmarks of a colonist power s show of strength. British national interest
was undoubtedly threatened by the loss of oil, spread of Arab nationalism and (more questionably)
the resulting spread of communism throughout the region but the moral high ground of a nation
defending itself against fascism was more difficult to conjure up.
By drawing parallels between (specifically) 1938 and the nationalization crisis a sense of moral
authority was gained.
Britain could no longer hope to act unilaterally with success. The support (active and passive) from
the commonwealth and the USA was no longer present.
Britain viewed Nasser as a reckless dictator who had potential to massively threaten western power
in the Middle East, the power of Britain and ultimately tip the balance in the cold war.
The decision not to pursue further

If one thing s for sure, it s the fact that we take the safety of our water for granted but would you

beautiful, sophisticated women. Different contests allow girls to have discipline and self control to

well planned event, the history of The Miss America pageant started as a beauty contest a long time
before now. The beauty pageant was held on September the seventh and the eighth of 1921.
Beauty pageants have evolved over the years, after World War 2, shows were made to represent
the ideal woman a feminine, wife like the keeper of the household. But now, pageants have
different selection criteria. It all depends on how women are perceived in society. Traits can
range from high and independent to soft and feminine. The winner of pageants will be
recognized as successful and beautiful and will embody well being traits. An example of a show
that operates in this manner would be the Miss America Pageant. It is a pageant in which winners
represent the ideal woman. People are continually instigating on the rumor of shows are for the
most beautiful people in the country. Though beauty plays an important part, the year and
definition of an ideal woman in this age play a more significant role. In 1921, Margeret Gorman
won the very first beauty pageant. She looked like Mary Pickford who was the most significant
star of the day, and this was the ideal woman of 1921. Thus, the perfect woman and year play a big
part. Pageants are competitions that mainly focus on the physical beauty, talent,

Use the force Luke is a phrase commonly said to Luke Skywalker by his mentor. This super
natural force is crucial to Luke s success and the completion of his quest.
Once the world has been restored and the hero has completed and succeeded in his quest a
transformation occurs along with a series of events. One archetypal hero event is an award
presented to the hero for their cunning abilities and bravery. Luke Skywalker along with Han Solo
receive medals of Honor to demonstrate their bravery, and skill at a ceremony fit for the greatest
archetypal hero. This medal symbolizes more for Luke Skywalker as it demonstrates the change
that has occurred within him. The characteristics of a hero archetype changes before and after his

a change, it is seen in him during the award ceremony. His facial expressions, clothing, posture,
even hair style demonstrates a wiser more mature Luke Skywalker then the one seen at the

Before, after, and during an archetypal hero s quest he/she must demonstrate certain

Between 1750 to the present in Latin America and the Caribbean, harsh and oppressive working
conditions remained constant, however slavery was gradually eradicated and the labor system
changed to a wage labor system after the abolishment of indentured servitude.
Although many changes have occurred in Latin America and the Caribbean, laborers continuously
have faced harsh and oppressive working conditions. During European colonization in the late
eighteenth century, countries such as Peru, Bolivia, and Mexico had rich mines filled with silver,
therefore Amerindians and Africans were enslaved and had to mine in appalling conditions. The

Indentured servitude is a system that was introduced to meet the growing demands for inexpensive
and abundant slaves in the colonies. Indentured servants were guaranteed freedom and passage to
the Americas after completing four to seven years of labor. Many Europeans, specifically the Irish,
came to the Caribbean willingly and unwillingly in the eighteenth century. Over one hundred
thousand Irish workers were sent to the Caribbean because they were prisoners of war during the
Wars of the Three Kingdoms and almost fifty percent of them died before the completion of their
contract. Life was difficult in the plantations and they produced cash crops, including sugar,
tobacco, and cotton. Indentured servitude was a labor system that attracted workers because of the
prospect of a better life and freedom, however most servants died due to the brutal conditions
before they were able to gain freedom. Although slavery was abolished in 1830 in Britain,
indentured servitude increased in the Caribbean. Indentured servants arrived from India and China,
thus Indo Caribbeans form a majority in Guyana. Indian indentured slaves were more common than
laborers from other countries, due to their connection with the British government. After the
abolishment of slavery, slaves needed work, therefore they also became indentured servants. The
plantations offered some food and housing for the workers. In general, indentured servitude
increased in the Caribbean after the abolishment of slavery. In 1917, Britain prohibited the system
of indentured servitude in the Caribbean. The abolishment of indentured servitude leads to the
current labor system of the Caribbean, which is wage labor. Wage labor is the socioeconomic
relationship when the worker receives payment from his employer for his services.

describes the heros journey and their experience. Some examples of the hero cycle include the call
to adventure, the approach of the challenge, and the reward. The hero cycle is important in
literature because it allows the story to flow cohesively and thus be able to be followed and
understood easily. It also tends to make the story more interesting for the reader leaving them

In this event there was no trophy given out or the arm of a demon to display in a mead hall. For the
paramedics, part of the reward was knowing they were able to help a family and do their job
successfully. But the greatest reward of all, was knowing my friend was alive and he was going
to be okay. Cliche, I know, but experiencing this first hand, I ve learned not to take any day or
anybody for granted. You never know what someone else is truly going through or what each
day has in store for you. This event has taught both my friend and I a lot of life lessons which I m
thankful we learned at an early age however, I desperately wish we would have learned it a very
different way. To be heroic, you do not need to have super powers or fight off bad guys. All you
need to do is be a role model and provide assistance or a sense of safety to others. Knowing the
hero cycle can also help us with our own challenges. It teaches us we are going to be tested and
go through our own trials and we will have to come up with our own approach for the
circumstance. However, there will often be a mentor or allies that will help us along the way to
reach our reward and soon enough the whole ordeal will be over and we will have learned the
lessons life intended us to and come out stronger than we

35. The Glass Castle By Jeannette Walls
Usually in society parents are to be blamed for failing to raise their children in the right way. It is
very easy for the society to criticize parents when they mistreat their child or not take care of his
/her needs and wants. It is easy for a parent to get judged in society comparing to a child because
parents are role models for children s. Even when a child has been mistreated by her/his parent, it is
easy for the child to forgive their parents. The reason behind that situation would be a parent s
unconditional love that a child sees, despite what he/she has been through. In the book The Glass
Castleby Jeannette Walls, she portraits a situation like that where the character spends her
childhood memories with her father. Even though Jeannette s father Rex Walls was an
irresponsible father and failed to protect his children, Jeannette still loved her father dearly.
During Christmas Jeannette s father Rex would give his kids stars as a present. Jeannette
describes Rex as an intelligent, loving and smart father that she admired a lot. The term father
reflected Jeannette s overall admiration for her father because her father is brave enough to face
the cold. As the author quotes, the cold never bothered him (39). In other words, Rex Walls has the
potential to make Jeannette feel special. Specifically, Jeannette describes her father in a very
simple way that explains the entry experience and structure of the story. In the book Jeannette
repeats that Dad said several

36. Animal Abuse And Human Abuse
For years people have been abusing animals. So much so, that there are commercials and
organizations dedicated to stopping the abuse of animals. It seems like everyday we turn on the
news and hear stories of a person burning a kitten or someone shooting a puppy, but why do these
people feel the need to do that to these helpless animals? Is there something deeper than just
animal abuse? The types of animal abuse these helpless victim faces are similar to the same type
of abuse children face. Animals are sexually abused, physically abused, neglected and even
psychologically abused, but it does not seem to be taken as seriously as human abuse. Domestic
violence, school shootings, murders and other forms of violence are also topics that seem to come
up far too often in everyday life. These criminals that have committed heinous crimes against
humans all got their start somewhere, and for many of them animals were where their abuses
started. This paper will discuss what animal abuse is, how animal abuse and violence are linked,
how people evolve into the criminals they are today through some sort of animal abuse, the warning
signs of future abuse, and how we can help these mentally ill individuals. Animal abuse, defined by
the MSPCA, is Cruelty to Animals. The infliction of physical pain, sufferingor death upon an
animal, when not necessary for purposes of training or discipline or (in the case of death) to
procure food or to release the animal from incurable suffering, but

37. Fate Vs Free Will In Macbeth Essay
Yanira Soto
English IV
Mrs. Crockett
February 3, 2016
To kill or not to kill The play, Macbeth, was written by William Shakespeare in 1606. This
performance is one of the most fascinating plays by Shakespeare. It was a royal entertainment made
to praise King James I. This enchanting play has many themes throughout the story. Fate vs. Free
will is one of the many points faced in the theater piece. While Macbeth had the ability to ignore
the prophecy, he chose to kill the king. In return, he became the ruler and suffered the same fate as
his victim. Since the prophecies of the witches came true, Macbeth chose to murder those who
learned of his skull doggery, and Macbeth was forced to kill them. Furthermore, fate is the events
that are predetermined. In this play, Macbeth murders King Duncan and he later encounters his
own death. (Cain, Murderous Thinking In Macbeth pg. 255 263). observes, We know that
Macbeth must be killed even as, at the end, we may find ourselves hoping that this murderer will
escape the death he deserves. In no other play does Shakespeare allow us to think like this of a
murderer. In this case, Macbeth gets a taste of his own blood. He dies at the end, so he practically
experiences his own destiny. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On Act 2, Lady Macbeth calls Macbeth a coward. She tells him that he is not a man because he
does not want to kill King Duncan. (Shakespeare, William. Act 2 / Macbeth. British Literature. pg.
306 394). observes, If chance will have me king, why, chance may crown me, / Without my stir .
This explains that Macbeth s viewpoints changed dramatically because he thought he would not
have to do anything to become king. In other words, he would have to go through a killing spree in
order to become the king of Scotland. Furthermore, he became excited because he was going to
become king so he decided to rush things. When this occurs, Macbeth then takes the action on
murdering King

The traits that define a successful time period in late Imperial China are necessary expansion,
unifying the people, and the construction of an effective and incorrupt political structure. The
effects of meeting these criteria is sustained influence in following Chinese time periods both short
term and long term, as other rulers will benefit from what their predecessors have accomplished, or
try to imitate successful policies. As a team, the Kangxi emperorand his successor, the Yongzheng
emperor, were able to achieve all of the goals for a prosperous period in Chinese history. Although
it was a relatively short period, the Kangxi and Yongzheng emperor s times on the Qing throne were
extremely complementary, and ultimately came together to form the most successful time period in
late Imperial China.
The Kangxi emperor s greatest contributions to the Qing Dynasty were his impressive military
forces used to expand his lands and keep peace within them, and his ability to establish a
foundation for order in those lands. The Kangxi emperor was on the throne for sixty one years, and
brought expansion and a stable government to the Manchu Qing dynasty by integrating Manchu and

40. Methicillin-Resistant Mythoiccus Aureus (MRSA)
Antibiotic resistance which can be defined as the ability of bacteria and other microorganisms to
resist the effects of an antibiotic to which they were once sensitive.8 Antibiotic resistance mainly
results from misuse of antibiotics which can be categorized as intensive and extended use of
antibiotics in human and veterinary treatments where antibiotics were not required and improper
disposal of antibiotics in both hospital environment and community which in turn results an
environmental impact too.
Among the resistant bacterial strains Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) is the
major resistant pathological strain which is resistant to almost all antibiotics available in the world
in turn very difficult to cure and life threatening. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Intrinsic resistance is achieved by spontaneous gene mutation through replication where acquired
resistance results as an adaptation technique when bacteria in contact with antibiotic. Pathogenic
bacteria can gain resistance through several mechanisms such as acquire modification of active site
of the bacteria in turn results in reduction in the efficacy of binding of the drug, direct modification
or destruction of antibiotic by enzymes produced by bacteria or efflux of antibiotic from the
bacterial cell through efflux pumps. Bacterial species accomplish spreading the resistance through
horizontal gene transfer mechanisms such as transformation, transduction and conjugation via
plasmids.
Antibiotic resistance has evolved as a result of the interactions between bacteria and antibiotic after
an antibiotic exposure. Bacterial species are capable of adapting to new antibiotic as simply as they
adapt to new environments due to their amazing genomic plasticity. This in turn results antibiotic
resistance to be very dynamic and unpredictable. Every year, almost 100,000 Americans die from
antibiotic resistant infections acquired from hospitals, largely because of the reduced effectiveness
of existing drugs, due to the development and propagation of drug resistance

41. Problems of a Self- Conscious Writer
Being a writer does not seem as hard as it sounds, but in reality, it is how you write that makes it
hard. A self conscious writing style takes more will power than other styles of writing, (In my
opinion.) There are many problems with being a self conscious writer and here are just a few
problems a person can have.
The first problem is that all the voices in your head are nonsense. They do not care for anything
else except to mess with your writing. This is especially hard for me because I will let the voices
take over and write the whole paper for me. In the past, I would not even look at my paper until the
voices were finished putting their opinion in. I stopped the voices from taking by over thinking. I
would constantly change the subject in my mind even though I would be writing; the voices would
be so confused by me switching topics that they would not even notice my writing. However, there
were sometimes when the voices would come through the megaphone and yell the same topic
continuously, which leads me to the next problem.
The second problem is repeating the same sentence. While there are many ways to form a sentence,
a self conscious writer will write it two different ways and think that it means something different.
For example, I like green peppers or green peppers are a vegetable that I like. They both mean the
same thing but they are worded differently. Repeating does not always happen with every sentence,
but it happens enough times in writing that it

42. The Importance Of Edward Murrow In Good Night And Good Luck
Throughout his journalism career, Edward Murrow fought for what was right, not for what was
easy. The movie, Good Night and Good Luck, shows how he made the controversial decision to
challenge Joseph McCarthy in his news reports. McCarthy was a Wisconsin senator who played
on the American s fear of Communism, and he unjustly accused people of associating with
Communism without proper evidence. Since McCarthy had the power of persuasion and people
were so scared of Communism, he became a powerful figure. Murrow was not intimidated by the
senator, and he thought it was vital to report on McCarthy s actions in order to stop the madness.

Before the 1950s, reporters typically accepted what the government said, and they avoided reporting
disturbing information. In Good Night and Good Luck, Murrow recognized that Americans are
currently wealthy, fat, comfortable, and complacent. We have currently a built in allergy to
unpleasant or disturbing information; our mass media reflect this. The loss of his sponsor and
television time slot shows that Murrow s reports on McCarthy were controversial and disliked by
some. Even so, Murrow did not quit his investigation of McCarthy s actions and accusations. In the
film, Murrow also realized that Americans needed to recognize that television, in the main, is being
used to distract, delude, amuse, and insulate us, then television and those who finance it, those who
look at it, and those who work at it, may see a totally different picture, too late. He understood that
the news in the 1950s was treating Americans like innocent children, but he recognized that this
mentality needed to change. He recognized the importance of hard hitting, factual, and sometimes
controversial news since the media and news helped to inform citizens. American citizens needed to
know the truth in order to improve society and to avoid catastrophes before it is too late. He
believed that McCarthy was jeopardizing Americans constitutional rights, and U.S. citizens should
have the right to stop injustices and create change in the government if necessary. Therefore,
Murrow was an innovative reporter who risked his reputation in order to bring truth and justice to
the American people, and he recognized the importance of properly educating American

Schizophrenia can be managed successfully with proper interventions.
When someone says, That person over there is a schizophrenic. Do we truly know what it means
or do we just assume they are so called crazy ? There is a stigma put on someone that has been
diagnosed with this disease. The term has been used very loosely over the years without people
actually knowing the background behind the term as well as the definition of schizophrenia.
Schizophrenia is in a mental disorder classification on its own.
Schizophrenia is said to possibly date as far back as Egyptian times. Although it may date back
to ancient times, the first belief was that the person was possessed by a demon or was being
punished for not obeying the God s wishes. Schizophrenia has not always had that name. The
term used before Eugene Bleuber renamed it was called dementia praecox. Arnold Pick was
actually the first one to name the disorder dementia praecox but was not properly given credit for
it. Emil Kraepelin was the publisher of several psychology books and was given credit for naming
it dementia praecox. It became known as schizophrenia after Eugene Bleuber reviewed Kraepelin
work and thought that based on the symptoms of the disorder that schizophrenia is a better fit.

The most common types of diabetes mellitus are type one immune medicated diabetes mellitus

Diabetes Mellitus is a metabolic imbalance that affects the glucose levels also known as sugar
levels in the body. This imbalance occurs when the pancreas is unable to produce enough or not
able to produce insulin. This can be caused by a couple of factors such as auto immune disease
which is Type one immune medicated diabetes mellitus (IMDM) or insulin resistance type two

47. Taking a Look at the Bangladesh Genocides
The Bangladesh Genocides is remembered as the most concentrated genocide of the 20th century,
however it is an astonishing act of overlooking. In an attempt to crush forces seeking independence
for East Pakistan, the West Pakistani military regime unleashed an efficient campaign of mass
murder which aimed at killing millions of Bengalis, and succeeded in doing so.
For the bloodbath in March December 1971 when the Pakistani army executed a largely unarmed
Bengali population in the then vital part of Pakistan s state known as East Pakistan , in an effort to
suppress the region s demand for independence was at the time the biggest story in the world s
media.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Before 1971, Bangladesh was divided into two regions; both with opposing political power.
Although East Pakistan (Bangladesh) withheld the larger population between the two provinces, it
acquired much less political dominance than West Pakistan. Through the power and representation
of leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, East Pakistan rebelled. Rahman, leader of political party The
Awami League demanded more powers both politically and economically. This struggle finally
cumulated into the war of independence for East Pakistan.
CAUSE OF THE GENOCIDE
In the 1971 national elections, The Awami League, led by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, had a major
success, winning 160 seats as well as majority of the national assembly. Rahman demanded
independence for East Pakistan, as well as the right to form a government.

1.Overview of the Balanced Scorecard Organisations, in order to increase performance, profitability,
efficiency and to gain a competitive advantage, will benefit from a good strategic performance
measurement system to ensure that lower level managers are acting in a way that is consistent with
top managers goals and whole organisation s strategy. One the dominant system is the balanced
scorecard framework (Hill, Jones Schilling, 2015, p.376). The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is defined
as a tool that translates an organisation s mission, objectives and strategies into performance
measures. It is used to implement strategy and to monitor and manage performance, and may form
part of the organisation s planning cycle (Smith et al, 2015, p.621). The BSC allows managers to
look at an organisation from four important perspectives, financial, customer, internal business, and
employee learning and growth, which are critical for running the organisation and creating value
(Smith et al, 2015, p.621). The BSC performance measurement system delivers the following
benefits, it: Transforms organisation s strategy into operations Brings into line everyone day to day

50. Charles Dickens And The Victorian Era
Charles Dickens and the Victorian Era The various themes and ideas of the Victorian era are
perfectly showcased in the many novels and short stories of Charles Dickens. The writers of the
Victorian era produced an enormous amount of the greatest novels to ever be written those that
were realistic, thickly plotted, crowded with characters, and long. They, more often than not,
showed the characteristics of the different social classes in society. Generally humorous, most
books were targeted to the middle, as they could relate to them the most easily. Dickens own
works have extensive plots woven throughout each of them, one in particular being that of Bleak
House. That novel is considered to be Dickens longest and contains a grand total of fifty
characters, all of which are interconnected by some standard. Its plot surrounds a mysterious
murder and lawsuit. A large portion of Dickens inspiration for his works came from his own
childhood and adolescence. He was born Charles John Huffam Dickens to parents John and
Elizabeth on February 7, 1812. Charles was the second of their eight children. As a child, the
family employed two servants. One was named Mary Weller, and she was instrumental in Charles
life. She told him and his siblings made up stories, which she swore were true, and thus stretched

51. Key Features Of The Pseudo Code
Pseudo Code is a concept that allows programmer to define certain logic in terms of plain simple
steps, which can act as a solution to the problem.
Pseudo Code is important because it helps the programmer to define the logic before implementing
the actual program. This can be extremely important when a programmer is trying to solve a very
complex program. In such cases, the programmer can understand the problem and define all the
possible solutions steps in completeness and also get it verified without the corresponding output
defined. It helps programmer to save significant time and cost while implementing the actual
program.
Since, the Pseudo Code is defined in a natural language it can easily be understood by other

Key features of Procedural Programming
Procedural Programming is made of a few key features, which are given below:
Pre defined functions: Functions that are frequently needed are defined as a part of the
programming language itself so that the programmer can easily use these functions for most
common functionality, which is also very repetitive.
For Example:
A function like System.out.println can be used to output the content on the command prompt or as
an output of the function.
Global variables: Global variables are variables that are defined at the beginning of the program
and can be accessed through the execution of the entire program. The Global variable is usually
defined as a static variable.
Local variables: Local variables are variables that can only be accessed within the certain section
of the code like a function or method and not available during the complete execution of the
program. In certain cases if the local variable is redeemed with the same name as a global variable
then the local variable will take precedence in the corresponding
