and create a meme from their point of view based on
how they have been characterized so far.
Remember, characterization is how the author
describes a character’s personality and
appearance.
Remember, point of view is the perspective from
which the story (in this case your meme) is told.
2. Provide a 3-5-sentence reflection on your meme by
explaining why/how it represents the character you
chose. Use a quote that demonstrates
characterization to support your ideas!

10. REFLECTION
This meme represents Grim because Max
describes him as a grumpy old man, which is
why I chose the grumpy cat image. Also, Max
says that Grim had a slingshot “when he was
my age” (5) but that he isn’t allowed to have
one because Grim “doesn’t want to give the
dangerous boy any ideas” (6). Obviously, Grim
doesn’t trust Max. For these reasons, I think
that this meme represents Grim well.
