This document summarizes research conducted about the Frankfort Community Public Library. Primary research included interviews with the assistant library director, surveys of patrons, and observations at a local Starbucks. Secondary research examined characteristics of Generation Y library users and trends in 21st century digital libraries. Based on these findings, recommendations are made to renovate the library's basement into a tech-focused space called "The Down Under" with communal areas, install a mobile app for digital library cards, and provide more technology resources and collaborative study spaces.
