Although we are not focusing or basing our music video on the original artist of the song, I think it is
a good idea to find out a bit about the artist in order to get an idea of their style. I came across the
artist’s website.
As soon as you enter the site, we are shown a quick paced, edited video of the duo producing their
album/songs with one of their songs playing throughout. This gives us an idea of the type of music
they produce and how they produce it. For example, we are shown a live orchestra which tells us
there is a lot of production and many instruments used within some of their songs. The video also
shows us the close bond the two members have, introducing not only their music but themselves as
people.
I have found a live and acoustic version of the song “Barely Love You Too”, which is the song we are
creating a video for. This gives us an idea of the instruments and production behind the song.
