 particular social groups?
From the market research report I found:

Most people who read magazines are
                                                                   Between 17-35

Most popular type of music is Indie

Price must be no more than £5 per issue

                                                          Editions must be weekly
What kind of media institution might distribute
your media product and why?

Bauer Media distributes a wide
range of media products

I believe my magazine would fit in
as it targeted to a mainstream audience

I have included all the aspects of a
magazine that ones on Bauer Media include.
Who would be the audience for your media
product?
I am appealing to an age range of 17-35,
as this is the most popular.

I am appealing to an audience that
prefers mainstream music.

My gender of my audience will mainly
be male as females don’t usually read
music magazines.

I am appealing to an audience that wants
 weekly editions of the magazine

Focus Group Results
How did you attract/address your audience?
I use a consistent house style throughout the magazine
  (Fonts, Colour, Layout)

I have to use a reasonable price for the magazine which is no more than £5

I use the Guttenberg design principle

I used the features that we’re recommended by the focus group
What have you learnt about technologies from
the process of constructing this product?

I learnt the how to use Photoshop, image editing and image manipulation

I learnt how to use Google Blogger

I learnt how to use SlideShare to make my blog presentable to an examiner
Looking back at your preliminary task, what do
you feel you have learnt in the progression from
it to the full product?
My Photoshop skills have improved massively, need assistance less.

I learnt ways in which magazines are designed, through the Guttenberg design
principle etc...

Through looking at actual media products (Kerrang, NME, etc) It gave me
better ideas to use on my own media product
