- 2. We have asked what age group the characters should be in our opening sequence. George Mckillop said that teenagers (14-19) are best suitable to appear in the opening scene because that would make it more appealing.
- 3. Next, we have asked Connor Ure what gender he thinks the characters should be. His answer was “a mixture”; that way both men and women would engage with the characters and implicitly the opening sequence as a whole. We have also asked Connor what time of the day he prefers a psychological horror to be set at and he said night, because it would emphasise the impact of the sequence towards the audience.
- 4. Adam Black was asked what settings he would like to see in mine and Adrianna’s opening sequence. He answered “an ordinary house”, as most abstract things happen in normal houses. Plus that using an ordinary house as the setting, would make it more realistic for the audience.
- 5. We have also asked George what elements should be included within the opening sequence of our psychological horror and he said that he would like to see an introduction to the main characters, which would make the audience aware of who one of the main focuses is and he would also like to be introduced to the location, because that way him and the rest of our future audience will know where the action takes place.
- 6. Adam said on the other hand, that he prefers the colour scheme to consist of black and red as black suggests mystery and red is a connotation of blood, tension and danger.
- 7. After our little interview with the boys, we have made our final decisions upon our psychological horror opening sequence.
