Focus Group
Carrying out my focus group
• To carry out my focus group, I prepared myself by
  creating some questions in which I ask three girls which
  were within the ages of 16-18 who listen to the genre
  of RnB to give me feedback and their thoughts of who
  should feature in my music magazine, what they liked
  and what they didn’t like but also what they thought
  were the typical conventions of what should be in a
  music magazine.
• I asked each one of them and also as a group various
  questions, some taken from my questionnaire to give
  me some ideas on featured artists who should appear
  in my RnB music magazine.
General Feedback
• The general feedback that I received from
  carrying out this focus group was positive.
  Feedback in which I received consisted of
  mainly female readers which enjoyed posters
  or the use of male artists within it. In one of
  the images you can see a double page spread
  of T.I, Charlie particularly liked this feature
  within the RnB music magazine.
• Some of the questions that I asked these
  young females within my focus group were:
  What artists within this RnB music magazine
  do you like?
• Betsi liked Misha B and mindless behaviour as
  she said they both represent RnB music and
  she loves their music.
