April 9 Stalker Family Advocacy Program conducts this class in how to deal with too much
1:30 – 3:30 Awareness interest in you by someone. Learn what is not appropriate and how to handle
it. Class held at Army Community Service by the Family Advocacy Program.

April 10 Coastie The Coastie The Coast Guard Boat will visit the McEwen Library for story time to
10 – 11 am Coast Guard Boat talk to kids about safety in or on the water. This a free program aimed at

April 11 What Do Peeps Come to the McEwen Library and create a diorama with PEEPS – take a scene
4 – 8 pm Read? from your favorite book, and recreate it using PEEPS. Then, bring your diorama
back on Saturday, APRIL 14 for it to be judged in our “ALL MY PEEPS ARE AT
THE LIBRARY” Contest. Please bring with you a shoebox, any special PEEPS,
and anything you might want to add to your diorama. We will have some
supplies here. Come in or call the Library to register for this event.

April 13 – 15 Trip to Enjoy the nation's capitol with its many museums, monuments and the National
Bus leaves 7 am Washington DC Zoo. $130 per person single or couple, $240 one parent with child under 6
year of age, $330 for a family of 3, and $390 for a family of 4. Price includes
transportation and 2 night’s accommodations just outside of Washington DC.

April 13 Month Of The Youth in grades 7 - 12 spend the night at the Youth Center. The fun includes
8 pm – 8 am Military Child food, sports, games, music, and more. Cost per person is $10.00. Contact the

April 13 & 27 Indoor Paintball Youth 10 – 18 years of age can enjoy paintball inside in the Fort Drum Youth
6 – 9 pm Center’s inflatable arena. Cost is $5 for Youth Center Members and $10 for
Non-members. Membership at the Youth Center is free.

April 14 BOSS Texas Hold This is the third of four Fort Drum BOSS Texas Hold ‘Em Tournaments.
Noon ‘Em Tournament Games will take place at The Commons in the Winner’s Circle. Doors open at
noon for tournament registration and games begin at 1 pm when registration
will close. Players will be provided a beginning bank of a set amount of chips.
Play will continue until they are out. $350 in prize money is being offered for
this competition open to all Soldiers and DoD civilian employees. No buy in

April 14 4-Person Team This Four-person Team tournament is held at the Pine Plains Bowling Center
1pm Bowling and is open to active duty military assigned/attached to Fort Drum, Family
Tournament members 19 years and older, retirees, reservists, and DoD civilians employed
on Fort Drum. Rosters due to the Sports Office, Bldg. P-10050, by 4 pm on
13 April or at the Bowling Center on the day of the event.

2. April 14 All My Peeps Are Visit McEwen Library to participate in PEEP races, search for those hidden
1:30 – 3 pm At The Library PEEPS in our scavenger hunt, try some PEEPshi, or maybe PEEPza, see all the
literary PEEPS in scenes from favorite books, and judge which one is best.

April 14 Teen Volleyball Set up and spike at this free fun tournament where Teen teams will compete

April 14 Children’s Youth in grades 1 - 6 can dress up and enjoy a Masquerade Ball at the Chapel
4 – 8 pm Masquerade Ball Drive School Age Center. Enjoy a variety of organized activities with music,
games, crafts, and snack. This is a free event however children must be enrolled

April 23 - 27 Sale for ID Card April 16 – 20 this first week and open to the public April 23 – 27 the second
9 am – 3 pm Holders week of the NAF Property Sale. Recreational equipment, office equipment,
furniture, and much more will be priced to sell. CREDIT CARD AND CASH

April 19 Annual Volunteer This annual event honors volunteers from Fort Drum. Presidential Volunteer
5 – 8 pm Ceremony Awards and Volunteer of the Year is presented at this cocktail event held at the

April 20 21st Annual Come to the Commons to enjoy foods from around the world at this annual
4:30 – 8 pm International event to benefit the Fort Drum Volunteer Support Fund. Pre-sale tickets are
Festival of Food $10 for adults $15 at the door, and $5 for children ages 3 - 11. Tickets available
through April 4 at ACS, Off The Beaten' Path, Red Cross, and at the Family and

April 20 Teen Karaoke Teens in grades 7 – 12 can choose their favorite song, grab the mike, and have

April 21 Month Of The April is Month of the Military Child and Fort Drum has events to honor those
1 – 4 pm Military Child young heroes. CYS Services offers a carnival for children in grades one through
Carnival/ID and five in the Youth Center gym. Food, an inflatable bounce house, and games are
Safety Day some of the fun offered. ACS is also on hand with their Child Identification and
Safety event. A teddy bear clinic will give free checkups to fuzzy stuffed friends,
the Tooth Fairy, Pluggy the Fire Plug and McGruff the Crime Dog will be ready
to meet your child, and Emergency Services will assist families in completing

April 21 UFC Check out the Pay-Per-View UFC Fight Night at the Winner’s Circle Sports Bar
9 pm Compliments of at The Commons. Pre fight activities begin at 9 pm with the main event

April 23 – 27 Family and MWR Privately owned vehicles that have been abandoned on Fort Drum will be sold
10 am – 6 pm Abandoned at this silent auction. Vehicles can be viewed in the fenced lot at the corner of
Automobile Euphrates River Valley Road and Oneida Avenue, Fort Drum. All vehicles are
Auction sold in as-is condition. Sealed, dated and time-stamped bids of a minimum of
$300 will be accepted throughout the week at the viewing lot or between the
hours of 8 am and 4 pm April 23 – 27 at Family and MWR Window on the
second floor of Clark Hall. Bids will be opened on May 2. Winning bidders must
pay and remove vehicles by May 8. Cash or Credit Card only accepted for

April 25 Administrative Show the Administrative Professional in your office they are appreciated by
11 am – 1pm Proffessionals Day taking them to this special luncheon at the Commons. The menu includes maple
