Michael Williams is creating a 2D animation game as part of his final major project for his BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production. He is creating a character animation of Michael Jordan showing off his basketball skills on the court in the uniforms and stadium of the Chicago Bulls. Over several weeks, Michael worked on research, idea generation, creating a pitch, developing a storyboard and production log, and producing the animation frames in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Flash. He finished the final tasks of presenting his completed animation and evaluating his work.

Starting the Final major Project completing Task 1 Research and Task 2 Ideas Generation where I would go into detail on which player, kits, stadium and research
into Rovio entertainment for its 2D scrolling games such as the great hit game Angry Birds Collection and the company making it money from the game and
accessories.

Still completing Task 1 Research and Task 2 Ideas Generation but have chosen to use Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls kits at the United Center so I will
gather lots of information involved in these ideas as well as other 2D scrolling aps such as punch quest, He-Man, Storm the train and my own app from my
previous year Mad Manager which is an football managing app where you create your own personal team.

Starting Task 3 gather information to produce my Pitch which was late as I took more time than anyone else doing it in the 5th
week as I kept falling doing the
pitch right in the first 3 tries and will complete this next week for sure.

Working on my Task 3 pitch still didn’t complete my pitch so everyone would know what I was doing for my final major project with doing my chosen options of
which character, stadium and kits to use on the characters for completing the final major project as a flash animation at 500 frames.

Producing my pitch so everyone knows my project and what I will be doing is a character animation of Michael Jordan showing off his skills on the court.

2. Date: 10.03.14
Starting Task 4 and 5 Planning and Production which includes my making a production log on my progression throughout the Final Major Project with all of the
good and bad points of the final major project and also making a storyboard to show the 6 steps in the character animation to show each section where Michael
Jordan doing in the character animation of him show of the new NBA Reborn trailer.

Finishing off task 5 with production into illustrator and Photoshop with giving Michael Jordan the colours of the kits on each of the different scanned in
photographs which was the 6 different poses with him running, jumping and even doing skills on the jump also will take some time with these getting everything
done right.

Finished off task 5 production after putting the illustrator and Photoshop images into flash for the animation after changing them from their original colours and
styles because they were scanned in so had no colour and style then butting them into Illustrator and Photoshop for colours and style.

3. Date: 31.03.14
Completing the last 2 task with the presentation and the evaluation to a great standard of work to show of my final production of the animation and the
evaluation of the work I have done throughout all of the work I’ve done.
