Martin created a sci-fi environment for a new action/adventure game commissioned by 343 Industries, inspired by Halo, Star Wars, Mass Effect and Dead Space. He researched the sci-fi genre and created initial sketches. Martin designed the environment in LightWave Modeler and rendered a 4200 frame flythrough, but had issues with textures that delayed completion. After getting help fixing the textures, Martin was able to complete the renders and flythrough video, along with updating his schedule, evaluations and production log.
