This week the student started their evaluation PowerPoint and attended a film festival. They finished their Share-work-Research PowerPoint with insights gained from the film festival. Their film was well received by the audience and one of the most popular entries. This positive feedback helped them create a detailed Share-work-Research PowerPoint. Their only challenge was nearly missing a deadline but they overcame this by using their time wisely. Going forward, they will pay closer attention to deadlines and learn from the successful techniques used in their current project to make high quality future projects.

1. FMP 2 Diary Week 14
This week I started my Evaluation Power Point, I went to the film festival at the start of
the week and I finished my Share-work-Research Power Point with help from that
experience. The evaluation is slow to start because the Power Point is very long, I
thought my film wouldn’t be as good as the entries before the film festival. However, it
went massively well when I saw my film was very high quality and it was one of the
most well received by the audience because they laughed at it so much (that was the
reaction I was wanting from my film). Due to this experience, I was able to make a
detailed Share-work-Research Power Point which I was finally able to finish. I only
faced one problem during this week which was the Share Power Point, because I had to
go the film festival to finish that Power Point I was close to falling behind on my work
and missing the deadline but I was able to overcome this obstacle when I went to the
film festival and used my time during the week wisely to finish the Power Point with as
much detail as possible. The reception to my project was one area that went very well
this week because I wasn’t sure how it would be received but it was high quality and
was one of the most well received from the audience. I used the Power Point website
to make both the Share Power Point and the Evaluation Power Point, I used iMovie to
make my movie and used teams to send it YouTube and upload it. I also used it to
submit my project to the film festival. I’m going to move forward by paying attention to
the deadlines of work with detailed scheduling of my time so I can make my Power
Points on time and use the same techniques which were successful on my current FMP
to make my future projects of a high quality in the future. The strengths of this week
are that I produced a successful film which everyone liked and the weaknesses of what
I produced was that I nearly fell behind on a deadline. I will continue to do my
evaluation work next time and potentially finish it this week. This week has changed
my ideas to continue to make films by giving me confidence to continue to use the
elements of my film that were successful such as editing and to change or improve
areas such as special effects to make even better films in the future.
