Production of Carbon Black. Profitable Opportunities in Carbon Black Business.
Carbon black is a generic term for a particulate form of elemental carbon manufactured by the gas-phase pyrolysis and partial combustion of hydrocarbons. Carbon black is virtually pure elemental carbon in the form of colloidal particles that are produced by incomplete combustion or thermal decomposition of gaseous or liquid hydrocarbons under controlled conditions. Its physical appearance is that of a black, finely divided pellet or powder.

Utilization of industrial waste in the construction industryeSAT Journals
Abstract Utilization of industrial waste in construction industry. This experimental work is an effort to try to develop the awareness & importance of industrial waste management & its utilization in productive manner among the people. In today’s more environmentally-Conscious world, a more responsible approach to the environment is to increase the use of by-products of one industry which is disposed off as waste as raw material for some other industry. Developed countries have made rapid strides in the utilization of supplementary Cementitious material in cement & concrete. Lack of awareness Consumer preferences, negatives marketing strategies & Lot of miss-understanding among the people have impeded their utilization in our country. In this work I have chosen three industrial wastes for blending with Portland cement Viz. Fly ash, Blast furnace slag & waste of glass industry. All these three waste after grinding properly were blended with ordinary Portland cement in different proportions. Then that of blended cement was tested for various properties of cements such as Fineness, Standard Consistency; Soundness, Setting time & Compressive Strength. As all these three wastes in powder form are of cementitious materials, they are proved to be best when blended with Cement. I have got improved results related to most of the properties of cement as compared to that of ordinary Portland cement. All these wastes prove the slogans true that are “ash to cash” or “refuse to resource” & “wastes to wealth”. In our country annually huge quantities of wastes are produced by the industries. Instead of disposing off these wastes if they are utilized in such a manner then it will provide an eco-friendly Solution, simultaneously solving the problem of pollution. So such waste can be blended with Cement, is the step towards economy & obviously towards progress of the nation. Keywords: - fly ash, ground blast furnace slag, waste glass powder; experiments on blended cement with different proportions of wastes; cost comparison.

Rheological Characterization of Bituminous Binder containing Wax based Warm M...IOSR Journals
Warm mix asphalt (WMA) has been gaining increasing popularity in recent years due to energy
savings and environmental benefits. The mechanism of WMA is to use some additives or technologies to reduce
the viscosity of bitumen and to modify the rheological behavior of bituminous binders, and thus improve the
workability of the mixture at lower temperature. In this study a paraffin wax based additive Sasobit is used to
reduce the viscosity and thus mixing and compaction temperature during hot mix asphalt production. VG 30
grade bitumen binder is used in the present study. Sasobit is added in the dose of 2 percent, 3 percent and 4
percent by weight of binder. Brookfield viscometer is used to determine the viscosity of the binders with and
without sasobit at test temperature of 90, 120, 150 and 180OC. Dynamic Shear Rheometer is used to study the
Rheological behavior of the modified n unmodified binders. The study shows that the mixing, laying and
compaction temperatures can be reduced considerably when sasobit is added to the binder. Laying and
compaction temperature can be as low as 80OC with VG-30 bitumen when 4 percent sasobit is added and due to
this there will be an overall reduction in quantity of emission of pollutants when the bituminous mix is made at
this low temperature.
Experimental Study of Some Agro-Industrial Residues Targeted As Partial Subst...ijceronline
Cement industry belonged to the largest energy consumers’ factories in Benin. The Cement Complex of Onigbolo (CCO) had particularly undergone the disconcert effects of petroleum blaze costs of last years. This paper dealt with experimental investigations on agricultural/industrial wastes as fractional substitutes of the 7,000 L/h fuel-oil burnt in CCO-clinker furnace. Combustion of about 58 tons of five targeted agro-wastes and worn-tires, up to now ignored or forsaken in situ, even incinerated in open-air because unwieldy, made it possible saving more than 1.5 MF(CFA) in only 100-hours running. Experimental results also showed how far the cement process could contribute to towns/villages/cities cleanup (environmental problems reduction) combined with energy needs fulfillment. Among the studied agro-wastes and in expectation of adequate control and optimization of the convenient pretreatment for improving worn-tires’ combustion, results revealed that wood-sawdust was the alternate-fuel technically and economically well adapted to this tested furnace, better than cottonseeds-hulls preferred by CCO-authorities. Compatibility of the burnt wood-sawdust with cement quality characteristics, relatively high calorific value, availability and abundance throughout the year at existent sawmills, technically justified its choice. Conversely, results furthermore proved that no significant substitution rate can be reached, using only one kind agro-waste: therefore cottonseeds-hulls can be combined to sawdust

Startup Business Opportunities in Production of Bitumen (Polymer Modified Bitumen, Bitumen Emulsion, Cutback Bitumen). Increasing demand for bitumen in building of national roads, highways, and airport pathways.
Bitumen is a type of low-grade crude oil made up of complex, heavy hydrocarbons. Bitumen is a dense, viscous substance that must be drained from the earth in an oil reservoir. To upgrade it to a better product, a lot of heat and effort must be used when extracting it. While bitumen is difficult to extract from the ground, it can naturally bubble to the Earth's surface in petroleum seeps. Seeps are areas where fossil fuels and petroleum products spill out of the ground rather than being trapped deep underground.

Unveiling the Secrets How Does Generative AI Work.pdfSam H
At its core, generative artificial intelligence relies on the concept of generative models, which serve as engines that churn out entirely new data resembling their training data. It is like a sculptor who has studied so many forms found in nature and then uses this knowledge to create sculptures from his imagination that have never been seen before anywhere else. If taken to cyberspace, gans work almost the same way.

Implicitly or explicitly all competing businesses employ a strategy to select a mix
of marketing resources. Formulating such competitive strategies fundamentally
involves recognizing relationships between elements of the marketing mix (e.g.,
price and product quality), as well as assessing competitive and market conditions
(i.e., industry structure in the language of economics).

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
9. Exports - Fly Ash Fly Ash is exported to over
31 countries
The total export value of Fly
Ash in these countries
is 2.16 USD million. The top
5 countries account for over
96% of the total Fly Ash
export from India. Bhutan is
the largest market for Fly
Ash export from India. In
2019-20, Bhutan imported
0.92 USD million worth Fly
Ash from India.

12. Coal fly ash (CFA) sample with a high unburned carbon content
was used to synthesize ACs. The effect of acid pre-treatment of
the CFA sample using HF and HCl prior to thermochemical
activation using KOH was also investigated. The acid washing
was found to be effective since it removed most of the inorganic
components found in the CFA, as was confirmed by EDS and
XRF. The resulting carbon-rich feedstock had relatively high
content of meso-/macropores as well as with relative increase in
specific surface area (46.19 m2/g - 81.20 m2/g). The obtained AC
sample was found to exhibit high specific surface (946.77 m2/g)
that was dominated by high microporosity and was tested for
hydrogen storage. The H2 uptake (1 bar, 77 K) was found to be
1.35 wt% and with a predictable potential for even higher
capacity when measurements are conducted at high pressures.
