Flowering plants are the largest and most diverse division of plants. They produce flowers which become fruits containing seeds, with each seed having stored food in a cotyledon to aid germination. Flowering plants reproduce with the help of birds and bees attracted by bright colorful flowers encoded in their genetics. They have basic needs of water, sunlight, air, and space, and examples include hibiscus, lilies, roses, daisies, and sunflowers.
