The church is facing a $30,000 budget gap for the upcoming year due to a decrease in pledge income from family relocations and a reduction in nursery school income. The vestry commits to closing the gap and asks congregation members to raise their pledges by $5 per week. Doing so will allow the church to attract strong pastoral candidates, shape its future, and meet the challenges ahead in the transition to a new interim and search for a permanent priest.

we could achieve our goal (for a
family of 4 that is pennies a day!!!)
