ECG for classification of heartbeat is presented in this paper. This work gives ability to the
classifier to classify the beats to one of the four classes as recommended by ANSI/AAMI
EC57:1998 standard. The beats are normal, ventricular, supraventricular and fusion. The data
obtained from MIT BIH database. Six hundred beats have chosen from each class. The accuracy,
sensitivity, specificity and predictivity for supraventricular beats are 96%, 90.8%, 97.7% and
92.8% respectively. For ventricular beats they are 97%, 92.8%, 98.3% and 95.1%. For normal
beats they are 98%, 96.7%, 98.6% and 95.9%. For fusion beats 95%, 92%, 96.1% and 88.7%

Visual Search is important in our everyday lives, and search relies on cues from the environment
and uses object similarity to guide search. While much research has been done to see how visual
similarity between objects affects visual search (Duncan and Humphreys 1989), very little research
has been done to see how different types of similarity between objects compare in their effects on
visual search. Specifically the proposed project would investigate how semantic similarity and
visual similarity influence visual search using real world objects. The usage of real world objects
is important because many laboratory visual search tasks are not reflective of visual search in a
real world setting. Neural measures gathered from EEG (Electroencephalogram) data in the form
of ERP (Event Related Potential) components can be used to measure onset of attentional
processing, as well as how distracting certain objects may or may not be. Specifically the N2PC
reflects a shift in attention to a visual target. Using this ERP component, the neural differences
between visual and semantic similarity in objects can be evaluated and compared between
participants. While research shows there is a behavioral effect between visual and semantic

After doing research on gender inequalities around the world, I realized how bad a lot of countries
are to women. Looking at the countries that have gender inequalities, I can see why they are not
moving towards sustainability. In this essay, I will be providing detailed examples of how different
countries treat their women and wives.
In some countries, women and wives don t have the right to travel without their husband or their
closest male relative s permission. In Egypt, Bahrain, and Syria, it is the husband s right to stop

The issue at discussion in this report is ESCR (embryonic stem cell research) and current use.
This issue causes controversial concerns because the first isolation of the embryo was in 1998,
which is still very recent and the policies around it are grey areas. Many countries including the
United States of America have removed funding because of issues that have risen due to religious,
ethical and legal formalities. Some of the benefits that ESC (embryonic stem cells) promise are the
cure for many diseases and even the creation of organs between other scientific advances that could

The process to isolate an embryonic cell demands de inner cell of a blastocyst. A blastocyst can
be described as one of the earlier stages of an embryo, which is reached at about four to five days
after fertilization. In the blastocyst stage, the future embryo is not formed by more than fifty to a
150 cells. In the blastocyst stage the cell is comprised of an external layer called trophoblast and
the inner cell mass comprised of approximately thirty cells which following normal procedures
becomes the embryo and the trophoblast, the placenta. In the process to cultivate the stem cell, the
blastocyst must die as the inner cell mass is removed. This practice has been legalized since 2002
