This document describes the typical clothing layers worn in 16th century Flanders. It includes: - A smock, the innermost layer made of white linen with long sleeves. - A sleeveless kirtle or undergown worn over the smock, made of linen or wool in various colors and laced or slipped over the head. - An outer Flemish gown with a skirt gathered to a bodice, worn over the kirtle and laced through rings. Made of wool in various colors. - Additional layers like a white or black linen/wool partlet over the gown, headwear, aprons, sleeves, and socks made of linen or wool in
