UCP of Central Florida and Oviedo Little League provide opportunities for community service. The author spent 15 hours assisting at a fitness field day event at UCP and volunteering with Oviedo Little League. UCP serves over 2,400 children with disabilities through education and supports. Oviedo Little League offers baseball and softball for children aged 4-19, including a division for those with disabilities. The author helped with set-up, cheering, and supporting a child with developmental delays in t-ball. The experience connected to the author's special education course and reinforced the importance of civic engagement and making a difference.

This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover

- 3. UCP of Central Florida Located in Central Florida Research Park Supporting children and families for over 55 years 35,000 square foot facility that practices full inclusion in the classroom Provides education to 2,400 children
- 4. Oviedo Little League Organized baseball and softball for children aged 4 – 19; Offers a Challenger division for children with disabilities; Approximately 500 children, 60 with disabilities; Emphasizes teamwork and fair play;
- 5. I spent my 15 service hours at two locations – Teachers in Action Fitness Field Day event and Oviedo Little League Fitness Field day at UCP Assisted with set-up and clean up; Served as a “cheerleader” for participants; Supported UCP staff with snacks and activities with children; Interacted with students and provided direction to events. Oviedo Little League Attended several games throughout the season; Worked one on one as a buddy with a t-ball player; Served as a dugout volunteer to keep game progressing; Encouraged children and cheered them on Helped maintain safety rules.

Demographics UCP of Central Florida Serves children with cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism, speech delays, developmental delays, vision and hearing impairments and typical students; Fitness Field Day had less than 30 participants; The children served on Fitness Filed Day were between the ages of 4 – 10. Fitness Field day served both children with disabilities and those without.

Demographics Oviedo Little League The entire league serves all children in the Oviedo area, including children with Down syndrome, physical disabilities, autism and behavioral disorders; The Challenger division has approximately 60 children of different races and disabilities; I worked with a 5 year old t-ball player who is developmentally delayed and lacks typical communication skills; I assisted with a t-ball team that had 8 typical children and one with behavioral and developmental delays;
