would be significantly different. It would be different because
this would cause Christianity, Judaism, Islam and other
monotheistic religions to not grow strong and spread throughout
many countries. For example the prominent religion throughout
Israel is Judaism. This is one of the "Monotheistic religions"
and if polytheism and pantheism remained strong it would be
greatly insignificant. It would not be the religion it is today in
terms of other people who have adopted this religion that are
not from Israel. This would cause Judaism to not network,
spread and be easily influenced causing it to be greatly
insignificant. People who adopt Judaism as their religion were
severely devoted and proud to be Jewish. The history that the
religion entails would not be the same. For example the
holocaust didn't give jewish people much of a choice other than
to be tortured and eventually killed because of their religion. If

maybe the holocaust would've turned out differently, maybe the
history of this tragedy would've worked out differently. It

spread. Another downside to if Judaism not becoming strong,
the people of Islam's identity would be completely transformed.
For a lot of people who have adopted Judaism as their religion,
for some it has become a way of life and a way of living. People
would not be who they are without their religion. So many
peoples personalities, ways of living and perspectives would be
so different. For example "Kashrat", is a set of dietary laws in
the Jewish religion that only permits certain foods to be
consumed. If Judaism hadn't become strong, the diet of many
Jewish people today would be so different. It would probably
even be looked down upon if you weren't aware of the Kashrut
laws due to the religion not being spread. This would ruin many
peoples social status throughout the country of Islam as well.
People in Islam wouldn't be who they are today without their
religion because it shapes their entire life.
Physician-Assisted Suicide should be legalized.
The patient has to be spared excruciating pain towards an
inevitable end of their life. Furthermore, the end times of such a
patient must ensure some dignity is preserved for both the
patient and the family. The dependents of the patient also need
to reserve some of the resources when the inevitable death of
the patient is confirmed.
Legislators and the legal fraternity have held a long history of
establishing laws against physician assisted suicide. They have
held onto strong counter arguments including claims that there
is a need to prevent abuse of such provision as well as offer
protection to patients/ families from unscrupulous
physicians(Emmanuel, Onwuteaka-Philipsen, Urwin, & Cohen,
2016.) The base of the legislators' arguments is the fact they
appreciate the patient's predicament and intention to save the
patients from pain, however, preventing legalization of the

4. physician-assisted suicide must not be misconstrued to ignore
the patients' suffering. Such laws have never been designed to
punish the patient or the physician in terms of guilt for
participating in sanctioned 'murder' (Emmanuel, Onwuteaka-
Philipsen, Urwin, & Cohen, 2016).
The goal is to establish a logical and transparent system that
authorizes, monitors, and evaluates each case that is subjected
to physician-assisted suicide at certified healthcare centers.
Medical journals/books/research reports and live debates on the
subject at both the national and state level provide invaluable
insights that must be considered in customizing the proposed
solution to the dilemma.
Statistics and information from patient families of a deceased or
terminally ill patient on the verge of death should provide the
necessary support for this argument. It is also necessary to
extract interviews from physicians serving such patients.
