2. About Me
I’m a 2016 graduate of Delta State University with
a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
I am a 2008 graduate of Greenville-Weston High
School, where I was a varsity basketball player
for 4 years.
I am a member of St. Andrews M.B. Church
under the leadership of Rev. Will H. Paul.
I LOVE sports!
3. Philosophy of Education
As a professional entrusted with the education of
young minds, my goal is to promote learning and
growth academically, personally, and ethically, by
providing a safe classroom environment and a
quality education to each individual in this
classroom. My job is to equip each child with the
tools necessary for success in life.

Each student that is enrolled in this class is

8. Attendance Policy
3 tardies are equivalent to 1 unexcused
absence for the class
10 unexcused absences will result in an
automatic grade of “F”
20 unexcused absences will result in an
automatic recommendation to retain in one’s
current grade

9. Dress Code
Students must have shirt tucked in at all times
Students must wear i.d. on the right side of their collar
at all times
Black or brown belts must be worn
Black, gray, or white t-shirts are worn under uniform
shirt
No hoodies
Jackets are not to be zipped

10. Grading Policy
Teacher will adhere to Greenville Public School
District’s grading policy, which is published in the
district’s handbook.
100-90/ “A”
89-80/ “B”
79-70/ “C”
69-60/ “D”
59-below/ “F”
11. Homework
Homework will be assigned as extra independent
practice and will be discussed during the next day
of class to check for understanding.
12. Make-Up Work
ALL students will have the opportunity to make up
work, ONLY with an excused absence.
All make-up work will be posted on the make-up
work board until the end of the week.
