Editor's Notes

  • #2 Upon the coming of the spaniards by the group of Adelantado Miguel Lopez de Legazpe, Many writings were lost because the spaniards burned them so as not to leave traces of philippine literary ingenuity. The Spnish colonizers specially the friars whose mission was to spread Christianity exerted efforts to convert the natives into Christians.
