1. Write it down and say it out loud
Writing down what you want your business to be is
important because it makes your vision for your
business tangible. Practice speaking your business into
existence. It will feel a little weird at first, but speaking
your business into reality is the first step of developing
an entrepreneurial mindset.

2. Get feedback early and often
Feedback is a critical component of making your
business a reality. It will help you uncover blind spots
and identify some major hurdles you have to
overcome to make your business viable. Furthermore,
it makes your circle of influence aware of venture and
that can open doors of possibilities for you.
z
3. Know your industry
Make it a point to know your industry like the back of
your hand. Strive to be a subject expert in what you
want to do. This will give you more credibility as far as
your business is concerned and help you distinguish
yourself from the competition.
z
4. Know your worth
It is important to be able to identify specifically how
you add value to your clients. This will be a
combination of personal professional skills.
Remember, your business is personal.

5. Find a mentor
I cannot express enough how critical mentorship is in
the success of your business. Your mentors will be a
point of reference for the finer details of running a
business. I recommend accumulating mentors from a
diverse range of experience and expertise.

It will help you uncover blind spots and identify some major hurdles you have to overcome to make your business viable. Furthermore, it makes your circle of influence aware of venture and that can open doors of possibilities for you.
  • 5. z 3. Know your industry Make it a point to know your industry like the back of your hand. Strive to be a subject expert in what you want to do. This will give you more credibility as far as your business is concerned and help you distinguish yourself from the competition.
  • 6. z 4. Know your worth It is important to be able to identify specifically how you add value to your clients. This will be a combination of personal professional skills. Remember, your business is personal.
  • 7. z 5. Find a mentor I cannot express enough how critical mentorship is in the success of your business. Your mentors will be a point of reference for the finer details of running a business. I recommend accumulating mentors from a diverse range of experience and expertise.
