GENRE RESEARCH Kasabian-Fire
THE OPENING

 The video establishing shot is of a quiet high street until a
man walk into shot and puts down his bag. He then look at the
reflective mirror. It introduces two more characters too the
video. It also has non-diagetic sound of a man talking. The
background voice stops and then the music video breaks in.
pages of music blow across the pavement as the man begins
to sing at the window. All of the characters are walking as
tracking shots follow them. They eventually end up at a bank
CHORUS

 The video then switches to a CCT V camera af fect as the men
begin to rob the bank. The CCT V is in black and white. They
make everyone move and force the cashier to put money into
the bag. It suddenly changes to colour as the cashier presses
the alarm discretely. The odd thing about this is that the guns
that they are using are guitar's and the money is pages of
music. They continue to rob the store until the chorus ends. It
then goes back to the man singing into the window. He
continues to sing until the chorus starts for the second time.
CONTINUED

 A bunch of black guitars began to get picked up whilst they
are still robbing the bank. The people that are picking up the
black guitars are revealed to be the police. The police shots
are in colour yet the bands bank robbery is all in black and
white. This is an example of an parallel editing. A long shot of
the bank shows the police arrive. The robbers are alerted and
series of quick shots show the robber jump the bank desk.
Once the police are in the bank the robber are forced out the
back door. The colour suddenly changes back to normal. As
the robber run away from the bank through some alleyways.
One robber runs of f whilst the two of them push a shopping
trolley with there injured friend. They run for the getaway car
but then realise that the driver is dead. Another robber is shot
and the two remaining robbers hide behind the van.
ENDING

 Police are covering the area. One robber runs for cover whilst
the other shoots the police with his guitar gun. The other
robber make a run for behind some crates. They begin to
realise that they are not going to get out if this situation and
the through the bag full of money into the air. The camera
fades back to the start when all four robbers are walking into
  the bank.
ANDREW GOODWIN’S THEORY

 A few theories that are in this video. The video has close up of
the bands members to help promote the band and image. The
second theory in this video is that
