2. Day 1 – 3rd February 2014Day 1 – 3rd February 2014
 At two o’clock a.m. we travelled fromAt two o’clock a.m. we travelled from

3. From Lisbon we
went to Frankfurt
and waited for the
connection flight
to Helsinki. We
had delicious
sausages.

4. We got to Lovisa at
six o’clock p.m.
The host families
were waiting for us
and we went to their
homes.

5. Day 2 – 4th February 2014Day 2 – 4th February 2014
 We went to school with our Finn friends.We went to school with our Finn friends.
 At half past eight the headmaster welcomed usAt half past eight the headmaster welcomed us
and the students sang some songs.and the students sang some songs.

6. We presented a quiz about Portugal and the Polish
team presented the quiz about their country.

7. During the afternoon we had outdoor
activities: Nordic walking and barbeque at
“Dunkahäll”.
At four o’clock we had a snack and we
went home. We had lots of fun playing in
the snow.

8. Day 3 – 5th February 2014Day 3 – 5th February 2014

9. We Went on a tour to Lovisa
doing photo orienteering.
At midday we had lunch at the
school canteen: fried herring
and mashed potatoes with
salad.

10. At half past midday we baked some
Runeberg cakes with our friends and
teacher Bettina. We loved this activity.
We went home to our host families.

11. Day 4 – 6th February 2014Day 4 – 6th February 2014
 We went to Poorvo, the second oldest city inWe went to Poorvo, the second oldest city in
Finland, and we visited the museums, the churchFinland, and we visited the museums, the church

12. At half past midday we had lunch at the “Café Cabriole”
with the teachers, the Polish and Finnish students.

13. In the afternoon we went to visit the “house of
Runeberg”, the Finnish national author.
At 3 o’clock we went swimming at the Poorvo
pool and we had lots of fun at the sauna and at
the cold water with our great friends.
At 7 o’clock we departed from Poorvo and went
to our families.

14. Day 5 – 7th February 2014Day 5 – 7th February 2014
 At 9 o’clock we met at the “town hall” andAt 9 o’clock we met at the “town hall” and

15. At 10 o’clock we went to school and worked on the computer.
At 12 o’clock we had lunch pizza in town.
During the afternoon we went skating on ice and we made some
handicraft.
At 6 o’clock we had a party arranged by the host families and
then we went home.

16. Day 6 – 8th February 2014Day 6 – 8th February 2014
 We left Lovisa at half past 6 and weWe left Lovisa at half past 6 and we

17. We had a tour in Helsinki and as it was snowing we
went shopping.
At 6:25 we started our flight back home.
After a stop in Frankfurt, we arrived to Lisbon at
quarter to midday and we met our parents.
