In The Leader Who Had No Title, Robin Sharma shows how individuals, regardless of title, have the power to demonstrate leadership wherever they are. The lessons recounted in this book will help individuals rise to a new level of innovation, performance, and
customer loyalty. There are strategies to go from just being busy to achieving stunning results, transformational leadership lessons to build a great company, and hard-hitting tactics to become mentally and physically strong enough to lead in times of change
Isn’t it curious? We look at other people, envy them for looking so terribly perfect and wish we could trade places with them, while they consider us and think of the same thing. We're jealous of other people who themselves are jealous of us. We suffer from low self-regard, lack of assurance and lose hope in self-improvement and ever winning anyone over.

Capitalism is not for sissies ─ The economic forces of globalization produce anxiety, fear, stress paranoia, helplessness, and, dare I say, a sadomasochistic Corporate America inhabited with supervisor sadists and subordinate masochists. Mistress Lisa Robyn exposes the workplace for what it truly is: a de Sadeian netherworld – one in which some people hold all the power, and most do not, establishing a lopsided, unequal command-and-control dynamic.
Since we still labor in a largely patriarchal office culture,
what are working women to do?

Originally published in 2009, before the international success of the Fifty Shades of Grey series and movies, and the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, Mistress Lisa’s outlook in The Corporate Dominatrix shows she was WAY ahead of the curve on the dysfunctionality and inequity of male/female power plays. Christian Grey may be some women’s fantasy in the bedroom, but some other woman’s nightmare in the corner office.
Using aspects of Jungian psychology, combined with the theatrical tools of the professional dominatrix, Mistress Lisa Robyn shows women how to role-play their way to the Boardroom by discovering their inner mistress archetype, and then tapping into the other heroines for strategic success.

Are you a Manager or an Effective Leader? The Six Pillars of Superstar Leaders.Michael (Mike) McNulty
My last blog (“The 6 Pillars of Superstar Performers”) seemed to generate a lot of thought and dialogue around superstar performers! I was so excited and energized to read the numerous comments and opinions; thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts, it really “lit me up” to see the incredible response.
Inspired by the genuine interest in the last blog and our upcoming Independence Day, led me to our next topic— “what does a superstar leader look like?” https://www.linkedin.com/post/edit/6551412607864107008/
Original article from the Flevy business blog can be found here:

Do women or men make better leaders?
Recently, McKinsey republished an article from 1976 entitled ‘ Sex bias – still in business ’ with the following 2014 introduction:
Despite much talk of equal opportunity for women, discrimination persists in business. This 1976 McKinsey Quarterly article, part of a series celebrating our 50th anniversary, shows how companies should correct disparities that are illegal, immoral, and bad for business.
Curious as to how a 38 year old article could offer fresh and relevant insights into a subject close to my heart, I sat down with keen anticipation to read it. My enthusiasm was quickly dispelled by tedium and increasing frustration. The article was too predictable. It gave a prescription of organisational measures to create greater opportunities for women, but the only reason it gave for doing so was ‘unfairness’ and the need to conform with legislation. I struggled to understand why McKinsey were bothering to republish it in 2014 – it certainly did not provide thought leadership..
Whilst the right of women to equal opportunities is undeniable there are even more positive and compelling reasons to advance their role in business. Ask yourself whether ‘the fairer sex’ or ‘the testosterone-fuelled sex’ are likely to fare better on the following, research-validated characteristics of Top 1% companies:
• Decisions, which can occasionally be bold and radical, are made on the basis of quiet, calm insight and understanding, not bravado.
• There is an holistic culture with a long-term, nurturing perspective and a recognition of the constant need to improve and to learn, personally and collectively.
• Staff regard the company as if it was their family and describe it with affection as an open, honest and supportive environment in which standards are high, but everyone’s contribution is valued.
Are you a new or established entrepreneur who is:
- Holding so much fear about all the uncertainties involved?
- Striving to build and nurture trust with your co-founder(s) and team?
- Struggling to keep the vision alive?
- Losing track of your sense of purpose?
- Longing for a sense of peace, by knowing what you need to do and why you’re doing it?
- Craving to simply connect and share your experiences with a trusted sounding board?
- Wanting to move forward with your decision-making?
- Feeling overwhelmed with a lot of junk getting in the way of you and your progress?

Always on top of my head and forcing me to think what I am? What made to originate to compete with each other? Is it worth even to think about or not? Am I an Intrapreneur or an Entrepreneur?
Let me take you a couple of months back when I was in discussion with a couple of young entrepreneurs. I went to a young entrepreneur conference in Silicon Valley of India. While having a sip of coffee one of the entrepreneur told me so you are an "Intrapreneur". I was totally clueless to give an answer to that young person because I heard this word the first time and how can a person categorize himself/herself as an "Intrapreneur" or an "Entrepreneur". Even after months, I am still struggling to put myself into either of this category.
This ia a slide show I did for a leadership course. If you wish to have a copy to use, I will send you one free, so long as you give me credit when you use it.

The case study discusses the potential of drone delivery and the challenges that need to be addressed before it becomes widespread.
Key takeaways:
Drone delivery is in its early stages: Amazon's trial in the UK demonstrates the potential for faster deliveries, but it's still limited by regulations and technology.
Regulations are a major hurdle: Safety concerns around drone collisions with airplanes and people have led to restrictions on flight height and location.
Other challenges exist: Who will use drone delivery the most? Is it cost-effective compared to traditional delivery trucks?
Discussion questions:
Managerial challenges: Integrating drones requires planning for new infrastructure, training staff, and navigating regulations. There are also marketing and recruitment considerations specific to this technology.
External forces vary by country: Regulations, consumer acceptance, and infrastructure all differ between countries.
Demographics matter: Younger generations might be more receptive to drone delivery, while older populations might have concerns.
Stakeholders for Amazon: Customers, regulators, aviation authorities, and competitors are all stakeholders. Regulators likely hold the greatest influence as they determine the feasibility of drone delivery.
Artificial intelligence (AI) offers new opportunities to radically reinvent the way we do business. This study explores how CEOs and top decision makers around the world are responding to the transformative potential of AI.

2. Stories, such as moral stories have the power to
shape mankind’s destiny.
Superheroes stories raise issues of morality and
justice, of personality and identity.
Who doesn’t want to be a superhero?
3. Superheroes have a strong draw on many people,
and not only because they are exciting and cool, but
also because a lot of them face complex struggles.
No matter if you fight evil mutants, or yourself, we all
struggle in real life.
4. In my view, everyone can learn from superheroes and maybe
even become one.
Being a superhero is not about doing extraordinary things,
but it is about doing ordinary things in an extraordinary way!
Every day, you can show super hero qualities like courage,
bravery, perseverance, determination, compassion and
kindness in your daily life.
5. There are many superheroes around us:
Policemen, Nurses, Firefighters, Teachers and
anyone whom are dedicating their life for others…
and they are superheroes not only because WHAT
they do but rather of HOW they do it – and HOW it
makes them and everyone around them FEEL!
6. I like to think of Entrepreneurs as Superheroes!
See, they strive to solve the world’s problems, inspire
social change and improve quality of life.
They perform heroic achievements with scarce time,
limited resources and against all odds.
7. Entrepreneurs are Pioneers, are Explorers but not in
the search of Gold and Glory as their real motivation is
DOING WELL BY DOING GOOD!
It seems that the new mindset is a Global mindset,
Generosity, Giving and finding Green solutions for a
better world to live in. Yes, most entrepreneurs toil
away in obscurity and often shy away from media just
as real Superheroes do.
11. If I could choose one super power, flight would be it!
Most Super heroes fly and I can imagine one day
soon you could fly too.
12. Entrepreneurs are constantly encountering new
challenges. The best founders exhibit a type of mental
agility that allows them to fly through constant
adversity with ease.
Entrepreneurs who have achieved this level of
intellectual agility reach new heights by standing on
the shoulders of their network until they can fly.
14. Captain America is a symbol of
America’s post-World War II greatness.
He always does what is right. He is
competitive, prefer to lead rather than
follow, and set high standards for
himself and others.
In business, it’s important to make a
statement that shows who you really
are and to inspire both your employees
and customers to grasp your vision.
16. Peter Parker also known as
Spider-Man had no superhero
mentor like Captain America and
Batman; he thus had to learn for
himself that
"with great power there must
also come great responsibility"
18. The Flash must make decisions in the blink of an eye or he
might run into a brick wall or get hit with a cold ray.
Sound familiar?
In business, latency is a killer.
Speed is one of the only advantages a startup has over a
big corporate.
19. The lean startup framework centers around the mantra of
"Build, Measure, Learn".
× Build a prototype quickly
× Measure how users engage
× Learn from the experiment and then iterate quickly.
Cycle time is a critical component for how fast a startup can
move through these steps. As a result, the best entrepreneurs
set up their company’s organizational structure and decision-
making processes to maximize speed.
22. Most interesting characters come with super cool powers
but, more importantly, with flaws that humanize them.
The Hulk is truly flawed. No one likes angry people. It’s
true; we can’t separate emotions from business,
especially when it is about your ‘baby’ startup.
Learn to educate your emotions, and control your anger.
Be cool!
24. Tony Stark, also known as Iron Man, is a genius of
technological achievements and innovations.
An absolute truth in business is that having the
latest technology can really give you the
competitive edge.
26. Now when I come to think about it, a lot of superheroes
are very charming and charismatic. Nonetheless, Iron Man
is by far the most charismatic of the superheroes. He is
impulsive, talkative, and fun-loving. As a leader, he is
inspiring and enthusiastic. He does have his flaws, though.
Cocky and not a great listener, he is sometimes more
concerned with popularity than results. After all, what’s
the fun of being a superhero if you’re not famous for it?
27. Yes, of course, you need to have a charismatic
personality to be able to sell your ideas and your
products. If you can’t convince your team, your
investors and your customers, it is highly likely you
never will be very successful.
Charisma comes in many forms but ultimately, it is the
ability of an entrepreneur to motivate people to align
with his vision of the future.
28. At the earliest stages of a company, this involves
recruiting founders, finding seed capital and
signing up the initial beta customers.
At later stages, this can mean leading acquisitions,
securing partnerships or evangelizing the vision at
a conference.
30. The fantastic four must learn to harness their
new abilities and work together to save Earth
from a former friend turned enemy.
Coordination - once a decision is made, an
entrepreneur needs to make sure everyone is on
board and rowing in the same direction.
31. Building a winning team is super important, for both
superheroes and entrepreneurs, as each member is
different and brings its skills and strengths to the mix.
Each superhero is strong on its own but with their team
they are invincible.
32. And remember… Every leader
needs a Robin. A strong #2

to do. You just do it!

by doing whatever is necessary to become one.
Adopting the mindset of the person you want to
become, and ultimately being that person, not just in
business, but being “it” in the core of who you are.
