Dear participants: The purpose of this questionnaire is to collect data for the study on ‘’Comparative study on the relation ship of
   attitutudes of professionals in apprenticeship institutions, mentors’ teaching experience , and expectancy of their students’, and
             Trainees learning motivation in public and private health colleges. The case of Gondar city adminsteration.
        ’’It is possible to achieve the objectives of the study with your kind cooperation in giving genuine’’

       the necessary knowledge and skills to your teaching and mentoring in an apprenticeship setting?

       Part III.Expectancy of teachers towards their apprentice students.
       Direction:- in the table below description of expectation variables are listed. Please read each statement
       carefully and put a tick (v) mark based on the extent of your agreement. Use the following keys in responding

            Expectancy of teachers questionnaires

1    To implement a teaching strategy of an apprenticeship program to health professionals it needs to reorgan
     an internal institutional structure of a health institutions.
2    I expect most of health professionals’ of the apprenticeship institutions might prefer to accept an apprenti
     their mentees, to those from a public health colleges rather than, those of them who came from the priva
3    I don’t believe professionals’ of the apprenticeship institution would employ any discrimination in delive
     of learning through clinical practices to novies learners among those apprentices, who were send from pu
     health colleges.
4    Students of private health colleges are assigned mostly in an apprentice ship health institution, where the
     short distance, and there is a conducive environment to get the opportunity of learning with clinical pract
     them continuously for their teachers.
5    I expect all students from public and private health colleges, can share a necessary professional experienc
     skills and knowledge, with the teaching strategy of an apprenticeship, in which, we are currently involvin
     fashion.
6    I don’t have any ambition to students’ of a private health colleges to involve with an encouraged feeling
     practicing session, while they are going to be assigned, at a place where an apprenticed students from pu
     are assigning to practice along with them within similar setting.
7    It is better to expect zero progress from pupils of private health colleges, while they are involving with th
     practice, at apprenticeship institutions, where they are found at scarcely distributed areas, and meanwhile
     for supervision.
8     I expect / believe apprenticed students who came from public health colleges could profits from the feed
     continuously from their mentors and college teachers repeatedly, due to their limited number, better than
     ones.
9     I expect most of teachers’ of the private health colleges have greater average teaching experience, as com
     teachers’ of the public health colleges.
10   I don’t believe that, an apprenticed students of a public health colleges are attending at a clinical practice
     attention and motivation, throughout the apprenticeship program, to profit better from it than from those
11   I am doughty full with the attitudes of mentors at apprenticeship health institutions, in delivering an equa
     learn through observation, practice, getting corrective feedback, re-practicing, and demonstrating at a clin
12   I believe a professionals’ of an apprenticeship health institutions, would not be willing to accept an apprenti
     private health colleges, unless the college make advanced payment, for extra duties they are involving with.
13   I am not willing to accept apprentice trainees from private health colleges, unless the college make advanced paym
     we involve with.

14   I know accepting apprentice students as a tutees, and sharing my Professional ethics and experiences; and enabling
     real professional challenges, are expected as if, all are beyond their primary responsibilities as an employer, by
     an apprenticeship institution.
15   Clinical issues in which students who are send from both public and private health colleges, involving pr
     apprentice institutions would not be expected to have any similarity with the real situations they encount
     complete the training.
16   I believe most of professionals’ of an apprenticeship institutions might not have an interest to train a train
     colleges, due to because, their experiences like: having, a large number of un-employed graduates’, failur
     assessment exam.
17   Most of professionals’ of the apprenticeship health institutions could expect accepting an apprenticed stu
     their guidance,would maximize their working load.
18   Most of professionals’ of the apprenticeship health institutions could expect accepting an apprenticed stu
     health colleges, prefers to get good apprenticeship result irrespective of their professional skill they acqui
     those from the public ones.
19   I believe most of professionals’ of an apprenticeship institutions might not have an interest to train a train
     colleges, due to because, their experiences like: having, a large number of un-employed graduates’, failur
     assessment exam.
20   I do believe that, most of professionals’ of the host institutions, are more positively disposed towards trainee
     public health colleges than from those of them, who might came from the private once; due to their teachers’ c
     supervision experience.

  • 2. 1 To implement a teaching strategy of an apprenticeship program to health professionals it needs to reorgan an internal institutional structure of a health institutions. 2 I expect most of health professionals’ of the apprenticeship institutions might prefer to accept an apprenti their mentees, to those from a public health colleges rather than, those of them who came from the priva 3 I don’t believe professionals’ of the apprenticeship institution would employ any discrimination in delive of learning through clinical practices to novies learners among those apprentices, who were send from pu health colleges. 4 Students of private health colleges are assigned mostly in an apprentice ship health institution, where the short distance, and there is a conducive environment to get the opportunity of learning with clinical pract them continuously for their teachers. 5 I expect all students from public and private health colleges, can share a necessary professional experienc skills and knowledge, with the teaching strategy of an apprenticeship, in which, we are currently involvin fashion. 6 I don’t have any ambition to students’ of a private health colleges to involve with an encouraged feeling practicing session, while they are going to be assigned, at a place where an apprenticed students from pu are assigning to practice along with them within similar setting. 7 It is better to expect zero progress from pupils of private health colleges, while they are involving with th practice, at apprenticeship institutions, where they are found at scarcely distributed areas, and meanwhile for supervision. 8 I expect / believe apprenticed students who came from public health colleges could profits from the feed continuously from their mentors and college teachers repeatedly, due to their limited number, better than ones. 9 I expect most of teachers’ of the private health colleges have greater average teaching experience, as com teachers’ of the public health colleges. 10 I don’t believe that, an apprenticed students of a public health colleges are attending at a clinical practice attention and motivation, throughout the apprenticeship program, to profit better from it than from those 11 I am doughty full with the attitudes of mentors at apprenticeship health institutions, in delivering an equa learn through observation, practice, getting corrective feedback, re-practicing, and demonstrating at a clin 12 I believe a professionals’ of an apprenticeship health institutions, would not be willing to accept an apprenti private health colleges, unless the college make advanced payment, for extra duties they are involving with. 13 I am not willing to accept apprentice trainees from private health colleges, unless the college make advanced paym we involve with. 14 I know accepting apprentice students as a tutees, and sharing my Professional ethics and experiences; and enabling real professional challenges, are expected as if, all are beyond their primary responsibilities as an employer, by an apprenticeship institution. 15 Clinical issues in which students who are send from both public and private health colleges, involving pr apprentice institutions would not be expected to have any similarity with the real situations they encount complete the training. 16 I believe most of professionals’ of an apprenticeship institutions might not have an interest to train a train colleges, due to because, their experiences like: having, a large number of un-employed graduates’, failur assessment exam. 17 Most of professionals’ of the apprenticeship health institutions could expect accepting an apprenticed stu their guidance,would maximize their working load.
  • 3. 18 Most of professionals’ of the apprenticeship health institutions could expect accepting an apprenticed stu health colleges, prefers to get good apprenticeship result irrespective of their professional skill they acqui those from the public ones. 19 I believe most of professionals’ of an apprenticeship institutions might not have an interest to train a train colleges, due to because, their experiences like: having, a large number of un-employed graduates’, failur assessment exam. 20 I do believe that, most of professionals’ of the host institutions, are more positively disposed towards trainee public health colleges than from those of them, who might came from the private once; due to their teachers’ c supervision experience.
