Primary objectives are to continue to explore, develop and enjoy the challenge of design and technological advancements,to seek perfection and to expand my creative capacity in a professional style.
The Internet has made apparent that a company's website is an increasingly important asset, and many businesses are now embarking on website redesign projects to "improve" their websites. However, in order to really get the most out of a website redesign, companies need to construct their website in the context of a greater Internet marketing strategy.
* Before you get started: when and why to do a website redesign
* Keyword research to build out website content strategically
* Building your website's reputation via blogs and social media
* How to measure results from your Internet marketing efforts
If we keep the conventional wisdom aside, coding is not the most important part of the website development life cycle. Actually, it is secondary. What is more important is the planning and strategizing the entire process and ensuring that it meets the client’s need.

Earl Pace and David Wimberly founded BDPA in November 1975 as a local association. Within three years, the founders grew BDPA into a national organization with chapters in Philadelphia, Washington DC and Cleveland.
Today, there are 45 chapters throughout the United States. One part of the BDPA legacy is our Student Information Technology & Scholarship (SITES) program. This is a program that enriches the educational opportunities for our students in an after-school program of technology training with a focus on low-and moderate-income communities.
BDPA established the Student Information Technology & Scholarship (SITES) program to teach advanced computer science and community responsibility to students from historically disadvantaged communities. BDPA has provided meaningful STEM experiences to over 10,000 since the beginning of the SITES program … with over 1,700 students having a chance to compete in our national High School Computer Competition (HSCC) championships. We are proud to have given out over 150 college scholarships to well-deserving students in our SITES program.
There are three major components of our SITES program that impact on the educational future of K-12 students:
1. Computer Camps
2. High School Computer Competition (HSCC)
3. IT Showcase
Most of our 45 local BDPA chapters run youth education programs that provide science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) curriculum and experiences on Saturdays for young people of color. These training programs host an average of 24 students for anywhere for up to 20 weeks and inspire our young people to become interested in BDPA and in the potential of a future course of study that focuses on STEM-based building blocks.

What is web development and how it can benefit your business | SEO Exparte BD Ltd.
Consider all of the web applications you have used in the past week. You probably can't even keep track of how many websites you visited, including your favorite news site, Facebook, and shopping sites. The internet is probably the first site you turn to if you need to find gifts, reserve a hotel room, or make a doctor's appointment. Even when the actual purchase takes place in a store, 80% of significant transactions begin with online research. The fact that 1 in 4 small businesses still don't have a website or a web app is somewhat astonishing, then. Especially in light of the numerous advantages that web apps may provide for organizations.
A web app can help your company grow by positioning you as a reliable partner who values its clients. But how can you build a feature-rich web application that your users would adore? Web development services might be used in this situation if you lack the time or the necessary abilities to create one yourself.
What is Web Development?
The entire process of creating, developing, testing, and maintaining websites and web applications is known as web development. This refers to the entire process of web design, web content development, client-side/server-side scripting, network security settings, and occasionally SEO optimization that goes into making a web app look great, operate well, and have a smooth user experience.
Full-stack web developers typically write lengthy lines of code in text editors, style it with CSS, and then combine all the components to make these products. Today, however, they can also create a new website without having to start from scratch by using tools like Adobe Dreamweaver or content management systems.
The three main types of web developers are front-end developers, back-end developers, and full-stack developers. All of a website's visual elements are the responsibility of front-end development experts (layout, navigation bar, etc.). Its functionality and interactivity are also the responsibility of front-end developers.
Less visible duties and development areas handled by backend developers include administering the web app services, databases, and applications. To fix server-side concerns with back-end development, backend developers may also need to use additional server-side languages like Python, Ruby, Java, and PHP. Full-stack developers can work on both the front end and the back end.
What tools do web developers use?
When people refer to "web app development tools," they typically refer to the HTML, Java, and CSS programming languages, apps, and environments that enable developers to write and debug the code for online applications. However, the job of a web developer changes along with the digital world.
They now need to be capable of more than just writing code fragments. They must be knowledgeable with graphic elements, responsive UI/UX design, prototyping, wire-framing

Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.

Finalexampresentation
1.
2. Introduction
After one year of studying multimedia design and communication we were faced with
a project that would contain all the knowledge we gathered this year and that will
stimulate us to create a complete and fully functional product for a possible client.
The project task was to take an existing company and improve the existing platform
with a new website and several other digital products.
What did we do?
We started by asking a question, the problem formulation phase.
3. Problem Formulation
We used the normative problem formulation (How) to try and solve the problem in
the project. Our problem formulation is: "How do we communicate effectively the Full
Circle Fuels company’s services and their CSR actions to the general public and raise
market shares ?"
Context: The Full Circle Fuels ( http://www.fullcirclefuels.com ) is a small US based
company that is converting diesel engines to vegetable oil engines. Their products are
eco-friendly and they need a new website, they need to engage in CSR and promote
them on their website and so on. This is the company we chose for our project.
4. “Measure twice and cut once”
This was our first goal in this project. We had to start to build the product based on a
plan that would ensure the success of the project. Project management was important
from this early stage of the prototype.
We started brainstorming for ideas on how to improve the product of our client. First,
we saw all the flows in the design area and in the marketing strategy and continued
with creating a project plan for our needs. From PBS to WBS was just a step and so we
created the whole project plan using a waterfall approach combined with prototyping
(this way we managed to set milestones that would let us now how the project is
going)
5. Design and Development
Being that the task was mainly to redesign the website of a company we had to focus
on improving the current website. The main goal at this point was to create a usable
and visually attractive product. We started doing layouts and brainstorming on the
best way to display our content and structure our site. We learned a lot from reading
about usability on different web genres sites and we followed laws on design (Gestalt
laws).
6. After the layout took shape we assigned different tasks to work on visual elements,
visual identity for the company, print material and of course coding.
Visual identity
We decided to change the current visual identity of the company and rebrand it in a
new different way that would attract more awareness and more clients.
Old identity Our first tryouts
7. The website
The website was designed and created using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator,
Dreamweaver, Notepad++ and tested on the major browsers. The code is validated by
the W3 Standards and the code is commented for other future developers to help
them.
We used HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML (for the sitemap) and PHP (for the contact form)
to code the entire website in a clean visually attractive product. All the bits of code or
images used were accompanied by a non-commercial GPL License allowing
modifications and use of the resources.
9. Other materials
We planned an Adwords campaign, online internet marketing via publishing
websites and outdoor advertising to attract new clients.
10. User Testing
We conducted user test with the prototype and we used the feedback from the users to
modify the website and make it more usable. Also we identified a couple of bugs and
fixed them before delivering the final product.
The users were 2 boys (both international and danish) and 2 girls (the same,
international and danish) taking into account their computer skills and different factors.
To ensure they feel comfortable we offered them cookies and beverages and we started
every test with a small discussion to interact with them.
After presenting the project and the prototype we started with some basic questions
about the website that focused on navigation, design, information etc. We gave small
tasks to the users to see how would they use the site at first glance and also to get
insight on any problems the users would be facing.
11. Cookies with feedback
We gathered all the data from the users and
after examining every video of every user
test we began improving some area of the
website based on their feedback.
Surprisingly we didn’t have to modify by
areas of the site due to the initial wireframe
we built.
We discovered some small bugs on links that
were not well defined and we altered the speed
of the slider for the users.
12. Tak / Thanks
