Cricket Wireless to Deliver a Truck Full of Toys to the Salvation Army
in Cleveland
WHO/WHAT: On Dec. 13, Cricket Wireless will deliver a truck full of toys to the Salvation
Army in Cleveland, to help bring smiles to children in need this holiday
season.
“We are so grateful for Cricket’s commitment to serving families in need
through The Salvation Army. With their help, many children in need will
wake up on Christmas morning to toys under the tree,” said Lt. Col. Ward
Matthews, National Secretary for Community Relations and Development
for The Salvation Army.
The toys were purchased thanks to funds raised from Cricket’s “Likes for
Tikes” holiday campaign in partnership with The Salvation Army. Cricket
donated $1 – up to a max of $50,000 toward the purchase of toys for every
‘like’ on a participating Cricket Wireless retail store’s Facebook page.
