(Uniondale, New York, December 12, 2012) Hurricane Sandy victims living in Long Island, NY will
receive assistance with food, clothing and other much-needed services thanks to several
holiday gifts provided by a corporate neighbor, Wright Insurance Group. Long Island-based

December 14th to two area charitable organizations, Island Harvest and Catholic Charities. Both
organizations were chosen due to their superior hurricane relief efforts on Long Island, according

“Our $100,000 donation and these other efforts reflect our commitment to assisting victims within
our community impacted by the devastating storm,” Fishlinger stated. "Many of the schools,
municipalities and communities that we have served for over 20 years have been drastically
affected by Hurricane Sandy.”
Public officials have been quick to endorse the Wright Insurance Group initiative. New York
State Senator Jack Martin, a member of the New York State Senate Insurance Committee, is
very familiar with insurance-related matters created by such devastating storms. “Wright
Insurance Group’s generosity will aid so many Long Islanders that have been harmed by
Hurricane Sandy,” he said.
