Final Script
EXT. UXBRIDGE GHOST TOWN - EARLY AFTERNOON
Tinnitus is heard, starts off quiet and slowly crescendos
louder. An establishing shot shows the surrounding area, the
main road is empty. On either sides of the road there are
empty houses. The windows of the houses have been broken, and
majority of the houses do not have a door.
INT. UXBRIDGE GHOST TOWN - EARLY AFTERNOON
Starts off in the hallway. Tracking shot shows a girl lying on
her back in the room. The room is dirty and there is little to
nothing in it with the exception of a photograph beside the
girl and newspaper clippings.
An extreme close up of the girls eyes, she suddenly opens
them, Tinnitus stops and the room is filled with silence. She
lazily sits up and holds her head to imply head injury. She
glances around the room to show she’s alone.
She looks down at the photo and picks it up. The photograph
shows the girl with her boyfriend. It is clear she does not
have any memory of this boy, or this picture being taken. She
drops the picture and picks up a newspaper cutting, she starts
to read it, as she reads the clipping her breathing begins to
get heavier. You see her eyes move across the page, then it
suddenly cuts to her running.
EXT. UXBRIDGE GHOST TOWN - EARLY AFTERNOON
The camera is placed on the floor, she runs over it. She runs
down the middle of the road. It cuts to the newspaper on the
floor of the room and revels the headline “Girlfriend kills
boyfriend over dispute”, then cuts back to her running. It
cuts again to a picture of both of them on the floor, and then
back to her running. The further she runs the more out of
focus she become. Once she is not visible in frame anymore it
fades to black.
